Just Back Easter Week

Just got back from our first WLV stay during Easter week. WLV was Great Weather was great except for one day. Record Attendance At all Three Major Parks this week as stated on the local news also hiring back about 1700 people. The Drive home to New York on I-95 which takes about 20 hours this time took 29.5 hours.

my time to too valuable to spend 29 hours in a car...good grief. I know the cost is certainly an element, as is the hassle, but I fly every week for work and its still the only way to go.

Wow! 29 1/2 hours to New York! We were contemplating making our first trip by car and I was concerned with the 20-hour plan. Just decided to go by plane as usual. Thanks for your report.

We have been driving down from Long Island twice a year since We Joined DVC in 95. We go every Easter and 2 Weeks in July.
Best time 18 hours. In July we Always leave 8 PM Saturday night and drive straight thru. Even after the 29.5 hour drive this past weekend, which was the exception we are still going back next Easter.

We were at WDW the week prior to Easter, and drove back Friday March 29. I thought we'd never get out of Florida! I-75 was stop and go at several times and just plain packed at others. Took about 22 hours for a trip that should take 18. (Did I mention the monsoon in the Smokies?)

Genealle, we must have seen you driving back on I-75 because we were stuck in the traffic going south on I-75. It was as bad as I have ever seen it.
