Hi all! We just returned from our 1st experience at Disney with babies. We have 7-month old twin girls, brought our Graco duo glider, 2 carseats, and stayed at AKL. I spent a lot of time on these boards before our trip agonizing over the stroller issue. I'm very, very happy we brought ours. The girls are used to it and felt comfortable and safe in it. Yes, it was kind of a nuisance to fold up each time we took a bus. Especially with 2 babies that had to be put in our baby bjorns first, then unload the stroller, then fold it up. What we will do next time is stay at a monorail resort so we can just push the stroller right on the monorail. Also, the water transportation would work out well.

The parks were a blast with babies! As everyone on these boards said, we took them on all rides w/o a height restriction. We were amazed at how much there really is to do with babies. Very fun.

The car seats worked out well for when we went out for dinner at night. It cools off at night so we put the seats in the stroller and cuddled the girls up in blankets. They slept every time we did this. So my DH and I still got to enjoy our evenings!

Any questions?

We've been struggling with what to do about the stroller issue. Our youngest two are 3 1/2 and 3 months. The 3 year old definitely still needs a stroller, especially since she still naps. I want to buy the Graco Duo Glider (I even took her to the store the other day to "try it out"), because I can't imagine trying to drag 2 full-size strollers all the way from Michigan, and then trying to keep track of both of them while we're there. I think I have convinced myself that the Duo Glider is worth the money, and reading about your experience certainly makes it seem like the best option.

Did you have any problems navigating in the stores? It seemed to handle fine in the aisles at ToyRUs ::yes::

Glad you had such a wonderful trip!

We had no problems navigating the stroller in the stores. In fact, the stroller was so handy we would bring it again and again. The only downfall, as I said before, was unloading it and folding it up before getting on buses. As long as you're prepared for that part, then I don't think you'll regret buying one!

We will be taking our dbl stroller for our 2.5 yr. old and will be 10 mo. We also have a 4 yo, 7 yo, and 9 yo to keep track of. I have a baby sling...did you find it easy to board the buses wearing one of your babies? I think this is about the only way we can get everyone on and off safely.
This will be our first time at WDW with kids, and our first time on site. Of course, we need a dbl stroller everywhere we go, but I have never done mass transit. Did you do any of the monorails or boats? Just wondering if I can roll them straight on without folding the strollers.

Yes, we found it easy to board the buses wearing our babies. In fact, it was probably the only way we could do it. Just remember to board the bus on the back side entrance (for wheelchairs) as it is much wider and easier to get a stroller on. And, yes, we did take a monorail and we could just leave the stroller out with our babies in it -- it was so convenient! We did not take a boat this year, but last year we did and I think strollers could just be wheeled right on, but I didn't pay close attention as we didn't have the babies yet!

Wow, you're going to have a terrific time with so many kids! Good luck to you and your family.
