We just returned from our 10 day Universal/Disney vacation - at Disney for 7 days with the free dining plan. We are so stuffed!!!

Sunday 18th-Counter service(food court at POR) it was ok food, nothing special
Table service (Japan/Epcot) Good food/fun atmosphere/limited
desert choices.

Monday 19th -Table service(LTT/MK) Great food/good choice deserts
Counter service(POR food court again)

Tues 20th- Table service(CRT/MK) Food was ok - limited choices, I had the
Major Domos and honestly LTT was alot better, but the kids
liked the princesses. Would not eat there again.
Counter service(Pecos/MK) This used to be our favorite
counter place but they have changed!! The chicken wraps
were not good at all, the kids menu very limited and there was
only one option for desert.

Wed 21st- Table Service(Sci-Fi/MGM) Fun atmosphere (waiter was great)
The reviews on the disboards were right on - only order the
hamburgers/shakes!! They were very good. Good deserts.
The glow drinks are not included and for 3 it came to 22.79.
Counter service-

Thurs 22nd- Counter service-(Lodge/BB) ok food, big portions, they
offered the icee lemon things for the desert
Table service-(Rose&Crown/Epcot) we did not get seated
outside for our 7:20 ressie in fact I had to wait in line for
20min to even let them know we were there but the waiter
was terrific and we got a good seat for illuminations.
My husband had the fish (very good) and I had bangers
and mash(also good). We had the desert sampler (excellent)

Fri 23rd- Counter service (Pizza(??)AK) Good subs but the kids menu
very limited (2 choices) kids could not even get pizza!!
But they did offer more for the kids deserts than just
applesauce (like pecos).
Table service (Chef Mickey's) Great buffet (salmon, prime rib,
ham,veggies, rice, ect....) Good desert buffet. Good
character interaction, very good service.

Sat 24th- Table service- (Concourse Steak House) A little disappointed
as the portions were very small and the food was ok-good
but they did have a great kids menu. Our waiter was
horrible (the only one all week). He took 20 min to bring
our drinks and even longer for everything else, he had a
very bad attitude. I was sorry that the gratuity was
already included because I would not have tipped at all.
Counter service-(Columbia Harbor House) Good food, big
portions and they said the kids could order off the adult
menu(she admitted the kids menu was terrible).

Overall, the food was good as was the service. I think my biggest complaint
is the kids menus at the counter service. We were stuffed all the time.
Our total for the week for 5A3C is 1547.63!!!!

Thanks for the review. This will come in handy for our trip in December. We are also on the dining plan (2A 1C). I have previewed some of the menus on allears for some good places to utilize my CS and I do have to agree, it is difficult to find good quality kids menus and dessert selections for CS. Also, with a TS, you are entitled to an appetizer (excluding buffets, family styles, character meals), but there are not any appetizers on the kids menus.
