Spent 5 days at the World. Did the deluxe plan and in a nutshell, we ate very well and after Chef Mickey's (sentimental favorite), my new favorite restaurant is Narcoossee's.
It was myself, DSis and Mom. Trip was relaxing, not much park time (Mom and Sis aren't big park fans, so I opted to hang out with them instead of my normal kamikaze mode.
We ate at the following:
Turf Club (twice; DSis - 3 times. She LOVED thier mussels and sushi grade tuna)
Cape May buffet (I thought it was ok. Would go again. I'm not big into clams and mussels, but there was enough other stuff to keep me happy)
Narcoossee's (Sis and I had surf & turf, Mom had the whole lobster. Everything was GREAT! And the steak just melted in my mouth. The almond crusted cheesecake for dessert was out of this world. It was so light and creamy. Yum!)
Flying Fish Another good steak. I also had the shrimp cocktail. It was good and plated very nicely. Sis had sushi grade tuna - there's a pattern here.
Citrico's - This was nice. I had the bone-in ribeye. Very good. Sis and Veal Shank and Mom had Wild Wahoo (fish). All were very good.
We also had breakfast at Olivia's and Kona Cafe.
My diet must now begin. I don't think I'd get the DxD plan every time, especially if I was hitting the parks each day. But every now and then as a take it easy, enjoy the "World" out the parks, I'd definitely do Deluxe plan to spoil myself. And if I book the basic plan, I'd double up the credits one night to go to Narcoossee's. It has become a must do each trip from now on.
We used our snack credits to bring stuff home (nuts, coconut patties, cookies, etc). Other than that we used 42 of the 45 credits we had and definitely got our monies worth.
