Will be posting trip report, food report and pictures soon!

Crowds were much busier than we were hoping, but lines werent too bad. Toy Story and Soarin both had 90+ minute wait times. Which is crazy.
Was just weird to have to wait in line for rides like Figment, Nemo etc.
Our immediate family is me, DH and DD6, DD4 and DS3 so we juggled strollers, naps, character fears etc.

Loads of fun and new firsts on this trip!
First time with Grand Gathering....20 people...from 1 to great grandma!

First time with DVC

First time with Pop Warner

First time at Christmas with MVMCP

First time to move resorts, from POR to SSR

We were also there with the parade taping going on for Christmas day.

Lots of fun!

Ate lots of good food: pictures coming
Whispering Canyon
Crystal Palace
Chefs de France
Liberty Tree
Kona
Wolfgang Puck
Cinderellas Royal Table
Rose and Crown
LeCellier
Chef Mickeys
1900 Park Fare

Excited to share more soon!

We were there from the 5-13. I have to say that we did have a great time, but there were a lot of other people there. I couldn't believe the mad rush to Toy Story mania. I thought I was going to be run over.
All in all it was a great trip.
We did get dream mickey ears at DHS going on the great movie ride.

were also there from dec 5 - 13 (at Pop) - surprised at the crowds - lots of rude, pushy, aggressive people - long lines at TSM - food portions smaller than year's past - got soaked thursday during tornado watch

You know, we got soaked at Hollywood Studios in that storm on Thursday! We were all so wet, but that ended up being one of our best days!
Crazy...think we were extra giddy because our group went from 20 to 8! So, that was our first day without a massive group!

There 12/6-14 at Poly......very busy all around, bordering on intolerable, except Thursday when it poured, ghost town at AK. Weather was only so so, too cold most times, must be a better time to go when a little warmer and not so crowded, just not worth the struggle to get around people constantly or to try to get on popular rides. Daughters loved the character interactions and boutique, so that's all that really matters.

Even with the Christmas decorations, I still didn't really get into the christmas feel, I guess being from the North is the problem. Also, I missed the traditional Epcot music as you walk around the innoventions plaza area, I can hear Rudolph at home...haha.....anyone else feel that way?

We got soaked at DHS on Thursday as well! LOL
It was a good day except my sneakers weren't dry until Friday night!

We got drenched at AK on Thursday! We stuck it out for a while but finally left around 12:30. It was cold! The worst part is, we got Dream Fastpasses coming out of the walking trail next to the Safari, and didn't get to use them! But as my DS9 said, it was a treat just to get them, Mom. ;) (This was my kids' first trip). We were so excited! We went to ride Kali River Rapids since we were already wet, and were going to use our fastpasses- didn't need them. So we have fully intact Dream Fastpasses for souvies :)

We were at the Poly 6-13 too. We got SOAKED at the MK on Thursday...just got in line for the Barnstormer when it opened up...everyone made a mad dash for Minnie and Mickey's house! On the plus side, we went on Space Mtn. and Buzz that am with NO WAIT since no one was out that day!

We left the park soon after that b/c it wasn't stopping. Went to Epcot in the evening and it was CROWDED! Wonder if everyone was out at night since they didn't go out in the rain?

We went to Epcot that evening too (well, late-ish afternoon... around 4). There were tons of people but we still walked right on to the Mexican boat ride and Honey I shrunk the audience. I think a lot of people were going to try to see the CP and all the lights and stuff.
We were at DHS earlier in the day and you could really see a difference in crowd levels about an hour after it stopped raining. I think a lot of people di wait for the rain to stop and then they ventured to the parks (especially those wanting to see lights, etc... at DHS they were probably pouring in to see the Osbourne Lights).

I never encountered one rude or pushy person! Crazy!! And I thought the food portions (kids portions at least) were bigger than ever!

We got soaked at Epcot! Had a great time! Then took the bus to POFQ and then the boat to DTD. Long day!!!

Where in Pop did you stay? We were in the 90's...

Sounds busy hopefuly the crowds did not put a damper on your trip!,Tornado warning!!:scared1: so were do the prople go If one does pop up?, I am peterfied of tornados we live were we never get them and just the thought of trying to avoid one scares me,here is to hope we never come across one:worship:

We were there the same time and did not think the crowds were bad at all except for Saturday 12/13 at MK. We did not wait more then 20 minutes on any rides the entire week except for TSM. We won two sets of dream fastpasses at DHS on Monday! We did the Xmas party Thursday night and had a great time with no waits for the rides. We loved the Xmas music all week at the parks. Would do this week in Dec again.

We were there 12-6 to 12-12 at AKV and got soaked at DHS in that same storm! We chatted with a lovely couple while waiting for the bus to go back to the lodge--we stood there counting as 3 or 4 WL busses went past but none for us ;). Even so the wait wasn't terrible--maybe 20 min? Which for the middle of the day isn't bad IMO.

we were there dec 3-10 @ SSR...left the day before the rain...i thought it was very crowed also...so much for slow time the 1st two weeks in December..

We were also wet at DHS the day of the rain. We got dream mickey ears that day and I felt bad as we were the second family to get them and had to share a car with people that just missed getting them. Of course everyone put them on (except my DH) and I just felt bad. I have been there when you see someone right behind you get dream fast passes or ears or a shopping spree. I was a little more sensitive to the other people and took my ears off.

We were there from 12/6-12/13 and I said a few times that if this was the slow season, I have no desire to go during the peak season. There were quite a few rides we had very short waits for, but others were very much longer than I expected.

We went to the MVMCP on Tuesday night and I was kind of disappointed. While what we did do was wonderful and magical, we didn't get to do a whole lot. We had time to wait in line for the princesses, see the parade and fireworks and really not much else. I think the only thing we rode was the teacups. I personally felt like they way over sold the event and it was a hassle just to walk anywhere because of the crowds.

All in all, it was a fantastic trip and I wouldn't trade my magical memories for anything, I just would have liked a few less people.

I have to agree with the above post, we were there Dec 1 to 11th and were surprised at the crowds, they were managable but when we went to the Christmas party on the Tuesday the 9th it was just nuts, we went to see Mickeys twas the night before Christmas and at 6:30 they were all ready lining up for the 8 o'clock show. an hour and a half in line for a show is crazy, both parades were so crowded you could hardly see, I was also disappointed in how many tickets they sell. I have been going to Disney for many many years but am starting to feel like they are losing the magic that walt started and only worring about the amount of money they can bring in.
