Just Back--crowded!!!!

We were there too this past week. Went on Columbus Day and found it to be crowded but manageable. Went on Tues and was able to walk on things at CA. Went on Tower of Terror 3 times. Went back on Thrs walked in and left within an hour and went to Downtown Disney. I think many people were off for the Jewish holiday. There were many AP holders getting on the trams with us. Several stood in line, then decided to leave.

Not too many people were there for the Sox-Angels game on Friday. We were at the game,(originally not planned) and there really weren't that many Sox fans there, so I don't think that influenced the crowds.

I agree that Thurs was a madhouse. The park was supposed to close at 8 PM that day BUT Disney decided to keep it opened until 9 PM. I assume because of the crowds. We had the day off from schools as it was a Jewish holiday. I was also at DL last week on Tues (another Jewish holiday and all our public elementary schools in our district take the days off) and the crowds were nothing - or very moderate. Thurs was insane. Hot too to add to the crowds.

I called Paradise Pier today, they are booked up Nov 30-Dec 7th. She said the weekend is all booked up, therefore we can't get a week in a row. She said it is unusually busy, because of the 50th. I thought that would be a really quiet time to go!

Well, I'll post how the parks were this week... we leave for the airport in... 4 hours and 45 minutes (I should probably be in bed!)....

It's gonna be a longggggg day!
