Just back CR/SOG May31-Jun8th

This was our first trip to the World and we had the most magical time, used our military park passes and stayed at CR...we have no complaints and 15 rolls of film to develop!!! We're already figuring out when to go back! If you have any questions feel free and thanks to all of you on this board we didn't forget anything and were well prepared even though we only had two weeks to plan!!

So exciting to hear of a great trip! We leave for our first WDW trip on 5 days! I think I'm more excited than the kids (13 & 9) THAT MUCH FILM! Yikes! I need to make a Wal-mart run! Any tips to pass along?

Not really any tips to pass along other than to appreciate every moment....it goes so fast!!!!!! And we quickly learned not to try to do it all, we decided early on that what we didn't do this time we'll do next time and took the time to really enjoy ourselves, the crowds were great and we got to do so much! Hope you have a wonderful time!! (I'm sure you will!)

NickeyRe, Could you tell me your room location and how you liked it?I paid $10. extra thru SOG for a water view /patio room. I also asked for close to the food and fun center and wonder where we will end up?? Thanks, Joan

Hubby and I will be at the SoG from June 27-July5 2004. Just wondering if we'll be there at the same time. We will be celebrating our 13th anniversary.

We stayed at SoG in 2001 before they started the renovations. Did you have a chance to check out the construction? I am excited to see what it will look like.

I loved the SoG when we stayed there last, very secluded and quiet. I hope that doesn't change too much with the expansion.

Glad to hear you had such a wonderful time. CR is my favorite resort. I have tried other places and keep coming back to staying at CR. Better be careful you will be addicted to WDW before you know it. I went for the first time 05/95 and figured I would go one more time when my youngest was old enough to remember, and now I have my 11th trip planned for the first of August and a trip to DL in November.
