Just back from a wonderful stay at the world! We were able to take advantage of the free dining plan! Even if we had to purchase the plan, it is definately worth the price! I never want to go again without it! Here are the TS restaurants that we used:
Chef Mickey - The food was good. The characters seemed a little rushed. This is a first night tradition that I will never give up!
Le Cellier - This was the best meal of the trip! The pretzel bread is worth the trip!
Cinderella's Royal Breakfast - This was very nice, although we sat over in a corner. The tables by the windows provide so much more atmosphere. The princesses were very pleasant.
Whipering Canyon - This was another wonderful meal! We sat out in a seperate dining area and had a very quiet dinner overlooking the lobby of the WL. The food was very good and there were no loud pranks or games in this area! This was much needed after a long day in the parks!
Trails End at Fort Wilderness - This is the only meal that I was very disappointed in. I will not be returning for a while! We were seated in a very remote location and had to walk forever to get to the buffet. The food was awful! I had to laugh when I went to get bread pudding for dessert. I had a flash back to the Vegas Vaction movie with Chevy Chase when they were at a buffet "the bread pudding is extra runney tonight"! Yucky!
Crystal Palace - The food was good. The character interaction was okay. We never did get to see Piglet. DS was not a happy camper!
Needless to say - we ate ourselves silly! The dining plan was amazing! We were able to order what we wanted and were never denied anything. We did pay extra for adult beverages and glowing ice cubes for DS and DD. The credits are pooled and are not seperated for children and adults. Our 7 year old DS could even order adult CS meals without any questions.
One word of advice - make AR's!!!!!! I was amazed at the number of people with the dining plan complaining because they could not get into any restaurants due the fact that they did not make AR's. They were shocked when I told them that I made mine 90 days ago! Le Cellier was booked for a solid week and did not take any walk ups during that time!
Any ??????
