Just Back ASMO

Wejust got back from a week at ASMO. The renovated rooms are good.We arrived at about 11 am and they met our bus with balloons as it was mine and my daughters bdays. We thought that was very nice. I had done online checkin and we got all our requests(1st floor fantasia by the pool) but our room wasn't ready. They offered us another room but we said no a s it was what we wanted so we had lunch and went to rthe pool and the room was reday about 1pm. We rested for awhile as we had awoken at 3:30 and then went to the MK.

The resort was good our only complaint was there were a few large groups and a lot of foreigners so the food court could get pretty crowded. We found that if we got there before 8am we were ok and it was crowded at night after 8 pm too. We used the pool almost everyday but it is a small pool. They had games by the pool everyday and movies at night.

We never had a bus issue. Did not share in the morning or at night only in midday and it wasn't bad a tall.Buses were very crowded at night.

All the CMs were friendly and nice. We called for extra pillows and had to ask again as we didn;t get them but we had a problem with the TV and they came right away and fixed it.

All in all it was great for the money and we would stay there again but my DD and I both liked ASMu a bit better and next year plan to move up to a moderate as we want move to do at the resort and a better pool.....let the planning begin!

Glad you had a good time at ASMO. That was the first resort I stayed at with my 2 granddaughters, and my initial love of Disney.

I have been going back every year since, mostly solo. I stay at the mods and love them, especially POFQ.

So glad you had a good time! That's awesome that they met you with balloons. We have been there many times for birthdays and never had that happen.

We like Music as well but have such bad memories of being there during a cheer competition that we haven't gone back.

I have been going back every year since, mostly solo. I stay at the mods and love them, especially POFQ.

We are thinking POFQ for next year!

We had a couple of Brazilian groups and a dance group. Thus we are planning to go to a mod next time.I would like to hear more English and less Porrtugeuse. Also we would like more things to do at the resort.

They were working on some of the coolers but I thought they were broken or something.

The values are fine and a good "value" and you are still on Disney property which is great! If only they weren't full of teenage groups.

Disney began installing "beverage coolers" in the Guest rooms at Movies last week.Below is some info.
