Hmm...Well, we stayed at the Yacht Club Concierge. Since they always have food out, we mainly ate there... We didn't go to any interesting restaurants really, just Mama Melrose, Beaches & Cream, and the Garden Grill (my parents got "re-hitched" there!)

Yea, I have a question! What did you think of your flight home?

Just to let everyone know, It Was Horrible!!!!

well, not too horrible

Our flight was leaving at 9:00, so we boarded about 8:45

We didn't get off the ground til a little bit after 11:00!! !!!!!!! There was a problem with the computer (Our plane was two weeks old- 737) They had to reload data, but some program was corrupt, so it took them forever to call the home base in Houston and fix everything. The kids behind me and Lola kept complaining, and kicking the seats and stuff. Well, better safe than sorry. Imagine being in the air, when all of a sudden, the lights go out, the a/c, and the speakers go off (which did happen when we were on the ground) and the flight attendants come running down the aisles saying nobody panic!! We have just lost our navigational systems so have no idea what our altitude is, location, and no one can help us!!!! That's all I was thinking the whole time we were on the plane. Since we were waiting such a long time before we got on the runway, we watched the comedy things then. During our flight, we watched Shrek (which was a plus)

Anyway, we're home now!!. I still feel a little funny like I'm on a plane w/ turbulence

We went to the Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, MGM, and the Marketplace. And we also spent two days at the pool. Hmm, we hit a bunch of things...Space/Splash/Big Thunder Mountains, R & R'in Coaster, (Dad and Kiki did ToT), Great Movie Ride, Dinosaur...and like a million more things

sounds like fun kiki and lola!!! I can relate to the plane thing..last time we went to disneyland we got on a plane (note: A plane not THE plane) at about 11 am. didnt getto california until about 12 the next day I wont go into details theres WAY too many but just so you guys know, i know the feeling of bad flights

*lol* Samster Daniel...we flew Continental, which we always use. However, this plane was only 2 weeks old, and they were having computer problems...information that I did not want to hear lol. But, better safe than sorry!

<font color=blueviolet size=4>I think something like that happened to a plane I was on a couple of years ago (while we were on the ground, hehehe). I really hate planes, but it's the fastest way to get to WDW so I guess I can't complain. Last year, we were starting to land (& the flight had been really really shakey b/c of storms) & just before we got to the runway the plane just started shaking a lot! It was soooooo scary! It was funny cuz after we got off I asked my mom sumthin like were u scared? & she was like yeah! She never admits when she's scared of something b/c she has to be the "Brave Parent." lol Geez, this thread is starting to turn into a "bad plane stories" thread... maybe we shouldn't talk about them anymore just in case some people are going on planes soon... hehe

I am glad you had fun on your trip! I am sorry to hear about your flight though! I have never flown anywhere I would have had a hard time riding on something that they had to just put all the info in because it crashed!! Not a very comforting thing!! I am glad you made it home saftly!
