Just back yesterday. We did almost everything. Any questions please ask

Dining Plan was great. We would have spent about $350 dollars more for the same food without the plan.
Magical Express was great
was great
Soarin was fantastic
Mickey's PhilharMagic was the best 3-D show I have ever seen.

I want to go back already!!!!!!! :sad2:

I did EMH at Epcot. That is how we got on Soarin. We missed the EMH for MK because we got there at 10:00 on Wed. We also missed The Studios because it was on Tuesday and we left in the Morning. We did not do AK EMH because there was not much open. We did do a couple of the late openings. They were pretty crowded. The lines were long.

Hi Welcome Back!

How was the transportation? busy, the buses were on time ?

Thanks

:earsboy:

Some are saying that the dining plan just changed and that the credits are put your park ticket card. This way everyone would have to show their ticket to use credits...instead of all of them being on one card. What did they do when you were there? :confused3 I was told this just changed over the last few days so I don't know what they are doing now.

The longest we waited for a bus was about 10 min. The buses were crowded and we did have to stand sometimes but the rides were short so it was not a problem. The drivers were great. If you had small children they asked if someone would get up and give you a seat and everyone was very cooperative. :sunny: :mickeybar

With our dining plan we only had to show one card. The credits were on all the cards so we could do it seperately or together. At the dinners I just used my card but for the counter services we all went up and payed for our own. We had family come up one day and I paid for theirs with my card too. I do not know about the change. I did not hear anything while I was there. :confused3 :wave2:

Thanks for the update! I hope there isn't a change. I think it would be a lot easier using one card.
Only 2 more days to go...WDW here I come! :cool1:

What resturants did you go to using the dining plan ? We have 6 nts. booked for August and I need a suggestion for my DD9 ... any kid favorites ??? Thanks

We did Cinderella's Castle. That was great. Be sure to order the Cinderella Slipper Dessert. We also did Le Cellier in Canada. That was fantastic. Our children are 18 and 23 so I am not sure about kids menu. We also did Ohana Character Breakfast. The food is good and it is fun for kids. We are in Mexico and China and I will not thrilled with them. The atmosphere was good but the food was just ok. Dessert in Mexico was good.

We did also eat at Boma in the Animal Kingdom. That was good but I am not sure about a 9year old there. The food is a little different.

I would suggest Chef Mickey. We did not do that this time but we have before and that is great for kids.
Floridian also has a great Character Breakfast. I am not sure if they have a character dinner too.

Have a geat time.

Thanks for the Dining suggestions .. we are going to try Ohana's for dinner,Chef Mickeys and Crystal palace !!!!

How was POP?? I am currently booked for sports, but want to switch either to movies or Pop... any suggestions, problems, or info I should know before deciding??

I loved POP. I have been in movies and music and they are all nice but I liked POP the best. The food court had a good variety of food and the gift shop was really big. We were in the 50's building and had a lake view. We could see part of the fireworks from Epcot, MK and Fantasmic. It was quiet there too. The pool was never crowded. I would stay there again.

With young kids (ages 2,4 & 13) would you suggest Pop over movies? Also, without paying for preferred rooms, where would you suggest we stay and on which floor? Thanks.

The 50's building where we stayed was not preferred and it was a great room. We had room 2460 fourth floor. It was the last room. The walk is not that far from the food court and the pool is right outside the building. I would say any of the 50's buildings are good. The 80's and 90's are the ones that are far from the food court and buses. :sunny: :mickeybar

The movies is nice too. The younger children would probably enjoy it beause of the decoration. They are all from Disney movies. That is really a tough call. I like them both. Go on the web site and look at the resorts and see what you think your children would enjoy looking at. :confused3

We are going to the C Beach resort in October.. have dd10 and dd9. How was the traveling to the parks.. We just rented a car because a lot of the tour books suggest it. We also booked dinners- we are eating at the Prime Time Cafe, the resaurant in Mexico, breakfast with Cinderella at the royal table and the Hoop de doo revue. What do you think of our choices?

We then are going on our 1st cruise on the Wonder. 5days in the parks and a 3 day cruise.. Wish it were here already!!

If you are not leaving the park, do not waste your money on a car. The transportation is great. The Buses come very frequently. Once you are in the park, you do not need a car. Use Disney Express from the airport. They take you luggage and bus you right to the park. You do not even have to go to luggage claim.

Your meal choices are good. I am just not sure your DD's will find anything in Mexico unless they really like Mexican Food. The place was nice but I thought the food was just alright.
You'll love Cinderella's Castle and the Hop do doo is fun. I prefer the Sci-Fci over the Prime Time but that is just my opinion. My kids liked eating in the car at Sci-Fci
Hope this helps
