Also, I notice your from TN. My in-laws to be are traveling to WDW from Nashville, how did you travel? And which airline do you suggest taking, or route do you suggest driving.
Hi, I was wondering, did you happen to see the statue woman in World showcase? I guess she has not been seen performing in a while, I was hoping she would be back by the time we go...
I asked this before, but I'll ask you. Did you see any of the new "happiest celebration" merchandise available and what did it look like? How are the 2005 mugs?
Did you use any of the lockers in the parks? Just wondering how big they are, how much they cost and where they are located. Hope you had a great trip.
The castle is actually quite cute with the characters on it. I am a HUGE Cinderella Castle nut so I was less than thrilled with the pink Pepto Bismol castle a few years back. My kids loved pointing out the characters on the castle.
I didnt see much of the merchandise for Cinderellabration since we did most of our souvenier shopping at the Disney outlets. We did wander thru a few stores in the parks and nothing really stood out.
We did not see the statue lady or Lucky the Dinosaur.
The lockers are in the front of the parks and are plenty big enough to hold a large backpack or a small cooler.
We LOVED It's A Small World. The entrance queue is now painted in a gorgeous shade of blue on the background and a Disneyland look complete with clock that announces the time every 15 minutes with toy soldiers that pop out of side windows. The whole ride looks freshly painted and even some of the dolls look like they have new costumes! We rode this several times just to enjoy the updated and colorful look.
Eric - that pain in your shoulder means you are suffering from Disney-itis and you MUST head to the FL parks ASAP in order to feel better.
YES! We took lightweight jackets and used them every night. My kids FROZE in just shorts at nite so be sure to pack some jeans or long pants for them once the sun goes down. It is HOT during the day and CHILLY at nite - especially when the wind blows and when you are on outdoor rides.
Aww, thanks Eric. No worries. Get to Disney FAST though to alleviate that pain. I think lugging heavy suitcases into your hotel on property is just the ticket for that pain.
