We just returned from our trip Dec 8-15. Here are a few comments: (this was our first time ever) A little long.......

First day-Epcot--no crowds at all. Little disappointed in the prices of the food--very expensive. We ate mostly counter service. We had beavertails (yum!) and yaki gori (good) and sauerkraut in Germany and ate dinner at the cantina de san angel ( we thought this was great and cheap!) We had front row seats for the parade. It was ok. It was pretty short and not very creative--it was the same thing over and over again. We got front row seats for Illuminations right at Canada and really enjoyed this show. The storytellers were cool and the weather was awesome! we had our Illuminations "Dinner" from france. Got a napolean, caramel souffle and a banana/chocalate souffle. The only thing we liked was the napolean--threw the other two away.

Second day was at MGM It was busier than Epcot and not as fun. We only rode Tower of Terror twice and the Roller Coaster once. We saw the Indiana Jones show-that was pretty cool. We saw fantasmic without any wait--walked in at 5:45 and sat in the 6th row of the center section. this show was awesome--absolutely loved it! We ate lunch at 50's PTC--loved it. I had the fried chicken and a chocalte malt. DH had the meatloaf and a beer. We both loved our waiter-cousin Cody and would definetly go back there again--no wait either!

Third day was MK. I cried as soon as I saw the castle. We spent the entire day there and did not want to leave. The only ride we had to wait for was BTMR and that was only 15 minutes. Walked on most everything twice in a row. We ate lunch at Columbia Harbour house and was pleasently suprised. Food was good and reasonable for the amount you got. I had a dole whip for desert--it was ok--not as good as I expected from all the posts.
And my DH had a Mickey Bar--this was disgusting! It was hard as a rock and the chocalate kept falling of the ice cream. He had two bites and threw the rest away. After MK closed- we went to Ohana's for dinner. We had a PS at 7:30 and waited for 40 minutes to be seated. Had two very expensive drinks while we waited. Once we were seated, our waiter was very slow. The place was extremely crowded with large parties and it seemed that they did not really cater to groups of two as my DH and I waited for 20 minutes before we got our lazy susan of appetizers. I really liked the bread, the salad and the stir fired veggies. After we finished the apps we kindly told our waiter we would like the skewers. About 20-25 mins later, he finally brought around some shrimp-when we told him we wanted turkey and beef. All in all, our dinner was almost 2 hours long. the only redeeming thing was that we were seated the whole way in the back by the windows, so we saw the water pagent at the resort. The food was really good , but the service was terrible and I wouldn't go back just because of that. Oh, the desert of pineapples and caramel was heavenly! We asked for three helpings of that!

Fourth day was Disney Quest. This was awseome if you love games. We got there at 11am and stayed until 7pm. We did not have to wait for any games and had a blast. I spent most of the day playing the games of my childhood-frogger, donkey kong , quebert and pac man (among many others) while my DH spent most of the day playing the shooting and fighting games. This was well worth the money! We had hot dogs, fries and cheesecake for lunch (all very good).

Fifth day was a rest day and MVMCP at night. We took my mom and aunt to the party and this was by far the highlight of our trip. We saw almost every show and watched the fireworks and second parade. We sat on the curb in front of the confectionary and watched the parade. I was wearing a Micky santa hat that said "Princess" on the front and when Santa went by he looked at me and said "Merry Christmas Princess" I was so excited you would think I was five! We had no problem getting our picture taken with Mickey and Minnie. They were everywhere!

We also did Epcot and MK again and went to Sea World for a few hours. We saw La Nouba and liked the show--but really didn't understand the storyline--can anyone feel me in on this?

All in all a wonderful trip. Had no problems with crowds and the characters were everywhere we went--it seemed we had alot of pixie dust. The only problem was that it really didn't feel like Christmas to us. The parks were decorated nicely and all, but it's just not winter without snow or cold weather to us. It was a shock to come back to 34 degree weather on Saturday!

If any one has any questions I would be happy to answer anything!

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. :)

How neat that Santa spoke to you during the parade!

I don't think there is a story line to LaNouba. It is just pure entertainment. I loved it.

Thanks for telling us about your trip.
