Aloha everyone! I couldn't wait to get to the Disboards and see what I missed! We had 11 fun days from the 31st to the 10th at the world and I hope to get a report out soon. One of the major highlights for us this trip was our first ever visit to Animal Kingdom, it was excellent. We were there on Wednesday and the weather was just perfect, not too hot or cool, breezy so we got to see a ton of animals all enjoying the day as we did.I can see how it could be a very smelly place in the summer months!I had to drag my DH here as he wanted to do another day at MK, but me and the kids won and he was so impressed and had such a good time he wants to go back to AK!We made the mistake of doing MK the monday after Superbowl and I suspect Americans treat it as an unofficial long weekend as there were lots of football families making the best of the Superbowl being in Jacksonville just a short drive away. All the cast members were saying they could not believe how busy the day was. We waited an hour and a half for Splash Mountain. Oh well, live and learn.We also did the new Stitch ride and we all agreed that it just doesnt work.My KIDS were disgusted with the spit and the smell and my daughter freaked over her head being touched.My ds(5) who just loves Stitch got up after the whole thing was over and proclaimed "Lets get out of here!" All in all, we had a super trip and it went by way too fast!
