The hotel was wonderful. Upon checking in my DH just mentioned that it would be wonderful if we could be given a larger room due to the fact that we had a crib being delivered from abbf and it took up a lot of room. The employee at the front desk said he would help us out. They continued having a discussion and my DH then mentioned it would be great if we could get a room with a balcony so we could "hide" out there while DS was going to sleep. And they continued talking.
Well when we got upstairs I almost fell on the floor when I walked in. They upgraded us to a suite that was bigger then our first apartment. It had a huge living room/kitchenette, an enormous bedroom with sitting area/desk and two balconies. It was wonderful and spacious. We went down later and thanked him.
The pool and kids club was amazing. I did not end up using the kids club; my DS is not quite three but they said they would allow him to come for a couple of hours in the morning as long as they did not have to change his diaper. But I ended up not signing him up. The facilities looked amazing and I know he would have had a good time playing there. They have a huge sand playground and water playground at the rear of the pool area and we played there for hours. He was in heaven.
The food though very expensive was good. We ordered room service 2 times and it was quick and delicious. We ate at the pool bar once and Planet Java a couple of times. DH ate at other restaurants with his conference but I forget which ones except for Sam's (which he said was good).
Though only negative is those of you interested in using the shuttle service to Disney. The pick up schedule is alright; leaving every hour 15 minutes past the hour but they don't schedule pickups from the parks until 2pm. With a toddler this didn't work too well, then if we ended up ending our day at one of the parks with the first pickup we had to travel to the other three parks before going back to the hotel. I ended up taking a taxi back to the hotel everyday when I was ready to leave (about 10-12 from Animal Kingdom, Epcot and MGM; not sure from MK)
