Just back and overall thoughts and lessons learned...

Thanks for the info! We did the Wishes dessert party last time and I didn't think it was anything special. LOVE Wishes and the viewing area was okay, but it just didn't seem worth it to me overall. Was thinking about Star Wars in the future, but not so sure anymore.

Well, we had an 8:10 reservation but they let people in by how fast they get there. I don't know what we were expecting, but it wasn't how slow it was to check in. We entered Epcot and took 2 photos and walked over at a decent pace, but not speed racers. We did not get a stroller this time so my 6 year old can only walk so fast. We checked in at 8:10, they give you this ticket, then waited til 8:40 to meet Belle. So, if I had to do it over, I guess I would have tried to get to Epcot at 7:15ish or no later than 7:30 and then walked with some purpose back to Norway. Or, I would get Frozen FP's for early afternoon and get the last breakfast, whatever that is. Once you are in there, it is good food and the princess were really good with my daughter and took their time. The restaurant wasn't that full at all. The buffet was cold items and we are all lox fans so we ate a ton of lox and then they served warm items of eggs and sausages. They will bring you waffles if you want but that is not included in the warm plate. I enjoyed the meal and the interactions, just didn't plan for the long check in. I would prefer if that sat you and then all the princess come around. My 8:40, my kids were HANGRY! I had probably pushed them trying to do an early breakfast.

That sounds awful! I was hoping you'd have answered that it was an EMH morning, hence the crowd waiting to get in. I'm sorry it didn't go as quickly as you hoped. We have an 8:20 ADR in September, so I'll have to make sure we get there extra early.

Regarding early magic morning, Is it worth it for 7 adults, umm, that is tough because it expensive. But let me say, the buffet was good and we were full for a while and the ability to get a jump start on the crowds was great. My mom and husband both said they would do EMM again, so for our family it is a YES! It was so calm and nice having the park quiet for even just a bit.

I enjoyed reading your review and feel along the same lines as you that guests just need to more mindful of where they are and what doing in any crowd situation (especially when there are children around).

I have a questions regarding early magic morning. Do you mean it's more expensive because you're staying on Disney property? I know there's no additional charge to the guest but was a little bit confused. The early magic hour is great for getting of attractions before the rest of the guests enter at regular park opening.

This was this paid event, early magic morning. Sorry if I was confusing. All the terms seem the same.

Great review. About the magic bands. We have the new puck type ones and I got the clip on lanyard type thing for them. I don't mind the MB on my wrist since I wear a watch all the time but the CMs all said that it was a lot easier for them since we could unclip it from our belt and just hold it out to them instead of contorting our arm. https://www.disneystore.com/magicband-disney-parks-magickeepers-carabiner/mp/1428104/1024701/

I just got the keychain clip and love it! It's so much better keeping it on my keys which I know I'll always have with me (even on vacation!). I will say it is kind of a beast to put together. The backing is really tight to get on and off and the screws are so tiny, a little whisper of wind and they'll be gone forever.
