We are just back and loved our very first cruise....I traveled with my mom, hubby, 4 children ages 3-8. We had 2 adjoining verandah rooms (cat 5) and I re-booked while on board (shows you how much we loved it! I'll answer any questions you have- my memory is not good enough for an in depth cruise report!

by the way- we did the 7 night eastern cruise with san juan as a stop...

What excursions did you do, or what did you do at San Juan and St. Thomas, if no excursions??
Did you notice what kind of high chairs they had....traditionl, or simple wood box shape?? Thanks.

we didn't do excursions- we explored on our own. very easy to do in st thomas- all shops are close to boat. san juan- we walked the city to el morro- the fort and then walked to old san juan. the only problem i heard with excursions was the snorkeling was only 45 minutes (not long enough for the money) and that the walk to the falls was very tiresome and some elderly people had hard time. My hubby did scuba dive in st thomas with disney and loved it.

the high chairs are the wooden kind that pull up to the table.

How did you like the connecting cat 5 rooms? We have them booked for our upcoming cruise in September. Was the amount of space adequate?

Yes- loved the extra potty and shower. my hubby was even pleased at how nice and bigger-than-expected rooms were. I brought bungie cords to hold doors open but they were already open with door stops (probably by our awesome host Erwin) We were in rooms 7040 and 7042 and we booked these same rooms for next time. very close to everything and did not hear any noise.

Glad you enjoyed your cruise and are back home safe and sound smahoney6!

What was the best part of the cruise for you and your family?
What did you think of Castaway Cay?

We are in 7608 and 7610 next week! I am excited! Did anyone go to Luquillo Beach on thier own in San Jaun? The excursions by Disney are just to far a drive but I think Luquillo is closer to the port. We have seen the fort before but may just do that or maybe just hang out on the ship! Glad you had a great time.:D

I'm wondering if they had changed the theme night (tuesday on eastern cruise). There have been reports its the Pirates of the Caribbean and the menu has changed. Is this true?:wave2:

Tuesday night was the pirates night - themed dinner menu which we got to keep and a great deck party and buffet. Much better than the other themed nights on previous cruises.

I loved it all! I liked the fact that my kids were able to do some stuff in kids club but yet be with us when they/we wanted them to be. The shows were very good- even my hubby liked them and he really just went the first time to be with us. Loved castaway cay- it's so huge with a lot of stuff to do but yet you could go back on the boat any time you wanted!

The best thing about this cruise is that every cast member- even the ones who cleaned the restrooms- were super helpful and friendly! I don't know what they pay those people (all cast members) but they all have great attitudes that I felt like was very real.

Smahoney6 - I agree so much with you about the people cleaning the restrooms. We had some wonderful conversations with cast members and couldn't believe how rude some people were ignoring them.
