We just returned from a week at BCV and loved it. Our kids are 1 and 3 so the pool was great for them! We are already thinking about next year and are debating between trying to get in at WL or trying again for BCV. We own at BWV so we will reserve there at 11 months and then try to change at the 7 month window. Anyone want to put in their opinions on which resort is better for 2 and 4 year olds. We plan on visiting Mk one day, doing MNSSHP, and spending a day in Epcot. The rest of the time will be pool and resort time. We also thought about splitting our stay between the 2 resorts and staying at WL for our MK portion and switching to BCV for the remainder of our trip, but I know thats a bit of a hassel too so we really cant decide. I have about 3 weeks before our 11 month window so any feedback would be appreciated.

Since you will be spending a lot of time at the resort, my vote would be for BCV. Last year we took my then 4 & 6 yr old grandkids to BCV for 4 days, went to MK 1 of those days. They loved it! We head back to WDW next month and my DGkids were hoping to go to SAB and play in the "sand pool". Alas, they will have to settle for the sand castle slide at OKW this time.
I don't think I would do a split stay, but that is because I've already stayed at VWL and prefer BCV to it. A lot of people really love VWL, and I really like it too.

I am a split stay person so that would be my suggestion, but which are available for specific days may help make the decision for you. Staying flexible between the 2 may make the reserving process more successful. I love both resorts.

I think both VWL and BCV are both great resorts. However, we own at BCV and we tend to go there once a year. For the other trip each year, we will try other resorts. I think since you are planning to stay at the resort most of the time, I would suggest BCV if you like the SALB pool. However, if any pool will do, I enjoy the scenery from VWL and they have a nice bike/walking path there too. I find BCV a little bit more in the middle things because of the boardwalk and close proximity (walking distance to HS and Epcot). But if this is not appealing to you for this vacation, I would give VWL a try.:)

Either way, I'm sure you'll love it.:thumbsup2

(By the way, I know what you mean about planning the next vacation when you just got back. I plan the second vacation of the year before I even go to the first one. It's so much fun, and when I get back from the first one, I get over my Disney-sadness in a shorter time because I am doing more planning for the next one. Although I still feel sad when we leave Disney, at least I have another one to look forward to. So it's great to plan the next one as soon as you get back, it helps keep the excitement going...it's continuous Disney at our house (well at least it is for me:) :rolleyes1 :thumbsup2 ))

HAHAHA! Thats exactly how I am too! Thank goodness for DVC. I am always in planning mode.

Last time we went, we stayed at OKW and at VWL. It was so easy to move. We just had our bags picked up and they magically arrived at our new resort in our room! We went off to play for the day and returned to the new resort and everything was already waiting! it was great, easy and fun to stay at 2 places.
