Hi everyone! We are just back from a great stay at the world! We split this trip with 3 resorts! I already wrote a short review of our 1 night stay at POR. Now for my review of our 5 night stay at the BW!!
We had a studio at the BWV. It was a BW view and we were so excited to just get to our room to see that view!! We checked in at 10am and brought over our luggage ourselves from POR. We drove from NY so we had our own car. Anyway, we had rented points from someone on these boards and when we checked in recieved a big welcome home as if we were DVC members!!! Well we felt like we were home because we love the BW and this was our 4th time here! Our room was ready and we were off to our room. I haven't unpacked yet, we just got home at 5am this morning! If someone wants to know the exact room# I'll have to find it later, but I do have it somewhere. Anyway, our room was on the 4th floor and we were right over the Big River Grill. First I want to say that the resort looked abosolutely beautiful! All the X-mas decorations were up. Our first impression when we opened the door to our room was WOW, now this is our kind of place! The room was immaculate, it even smelled good. The view was to die for! A perfect view of Epcot, the whole area of the lake and other resorts. Just awesome! We spent alot of nights just sitting on the balcony people watching!
Now there has been some people here that have said a BW view room is noisy. Here's my opinion on that. Much of the crowd noise would dissappear when the doors were shut. However, when that bell rang when people were playing the water gun game, you could hear it no matter what! It really wasn't too often so it didn't bother us. There were 2 times we heard someone, obviously drunk at like 1am yelling! It quickly stopped in a manner of 2 min. So, if someone is screaming and it is crowded with alot of people playing that game, you could get bothered by the noise. It didn't bother us at all.
We spent some time at the quiet pool. We used the community hall, we spent many nights on the BW, we rented boats from the YC and we walked to and from MGM and Epcot. It was always faster for us. When you take the boat to MGM it goes to YC/BC first, then Swan/Dolphin, then to MGM. We walked there faster and actually enjoy the walk.
Overall, it was a wonderful stay here and of course we will go back!! Any questions just ask!
