A quick description of us. Me: food lover, not afraid to try new things, will eat it even if I don't like it if I can. DW: will try new things to an extent, a little more timid. DS7: picky eater, enjoys veggies and lighter menu the most. DD4 eats like me, not afraid to tell you when she doesn't like something.
Now the bad...the sd card in the camera will not read so all pics are lost in that little plastic piece of junk. I will do my best to describe what I can though for anyone willing to read it!
I will try to do a days worth of food per post.

On arrival day we got to Epcot around 2pm and decided to head to the Showcase. Kids were hungry so as soon as we hit Mexico we went to La Cantina de San Angel for a quick bite. Nachos and chicken tacos to split were what we decided on. The nachos were good, loaded with toppings which was nice because I was afraid we would have alot of bare chips. They were good just as they came and we would definitely get again. The chicken tacos did leave us wondering why we didn't order two nachos instead. There were three small tacos with a couple little pieces of chicken in each. They were very dry and not even the salsa we added helped them much. They came with chips which were good because both salsa choices, a sweet salsa verde and a tangy chipotle tasted good. We all liked it for the most part and would do again, just not the chicken nachos. The kids were full as were we and so off we went for the day.
An 8:30 adr at Via Napoli was much anticipated before our trip and we were somewhat pleased with our choices. I ordered a mixed green salad, pollo parmigiana, coke, and zeppole di catarina for dessert. The sauce and cheese on the chicken had great flavor, the chicken however was a bit thin and dry. It was served with roasted potatoes that were good. The zeppole were good and there was alot of them. They are a fried ricotta ball sprinkled with powdered sugar and served with chocolate and whipped cream on the side. The chocolate isn't very sweet so while I enjoyed DW and DD that tried it did not like it. When I set my fork down they were gone so I must have like the setup. DW ordered a mixed green salad, spaghetti and meatballs, coke, and pistachio gelato for dessert. She enjoyed the spaghetti and sauce as the pasta was cooked just right and the sauce is great, the veal meatballs were just ok to her though. They were small semi soft meatballs but when I tried one they did seem quite salty. She absolutely loved the pistachio gelato.
DS and DD both ordered the kids spaghetti and meatballs, milk and had chocolate gelato and gelato frizzante for dessert. They loved everything, and when I tried them i see why. The chocolate was rich and creamy, perfect. The frizzante was like a creamsicle in a glass and was very nice as well.
We would definitely eat here again, but it is a bit hectic in there so maybe not the first night when we want to wind down a bit.

Day two started off with breakfast from Kringla Bakery purchased the night before...schoolbread for all.
They were great and you would have thought the were donut holes as quick as they disappeared! Soon after we were off to MK for the day.
For lunch we decided we decided on Columbia Harbour House since we had never tried it. My birthday was announced, quite funny really as the cm stated that on that day a very long time ago a really old guy was born...all in good fun! I ordered the anchos aweigh sandwich with chips, coke, chocolate cake. I enjoyed the sandwich I just wish the bread hadn't felt like it had been sitting out for a long time. The cake is always good when you are in the need of a big chocolate fix. DW went with the chicken nuggets and fries, sprite, chocolate cake. She was glad they weren't the kids nuggets and liked them. DS went with the macaroni and cheese, DD with the salad with chicken. They ate theirs DS said he was positive it was stouffers mac and cheese which was good since he loves that.
We will go back.
For dinner our adr was at Crystal Palace again at 8:30. Dodging a major downpour, thunder and lightning we made our way there just as the rain slowed. We had eaten here before and it really wasn't one of our favorites but the character dinner for the kids was the plan so we went back. I was quite shocked that we enjoyed everything we put on our plates! The turkey was as tender as you can get it, the beef roast was cooked just right and tender, good salads, spoonbread, veggies and nice desserts.
I think if we need a character meal next year that will go back in the mix.

Breakfast consisted of cinnamon rolls from Main Street Bakery that we grabbed on the way out of the park the night before. They were good but it does seem as if they aren't as gooey as they used to be. ?(this will not stop me from eating them though) After eating we were of to Animal Kingdom for the day.
Lunch was planned for Flame Tree but the kids asked for Pizzafari so we went there instead. Myself and DW opted for the pepperoni pizza with a caesar side salad. I went with chocolate mousse, DW with strawberry parfait. DS and DD went with the kids cheese pizza meal. The pizza was ok, it is Disney pizza which I don't consider to be that good but hte kids ate it all so that made it worth eating at. The chocolate mousse was very rich but good. DW enjoyed the strawberry parfait.
I would take the kids there if they wanted it again but I wouldn't make that my top pick.
For dinner we were in DTD and headed to Planet Hollywood with the $15 voucher from the package. I went with the double down burger and fries. This thing was massive...I couldn't get it in my mouth and had to cut it to eat it. The burger was juicy and close to a pound. It was one patty topped with swiss cheese,
sautéed mushrooms and onions – the other topped with barbeque sauce, bacon and cheddar cheese with lettuce, tomato, onion and pickle. DW went with the l.a. lasagna, which is always good and did not disappoint, a caesar salad which was the best salad of the trip and she couldn't eat it all. DS and DD both chose the chicken tenders with fries, Ds cleared his plate, DD ate half. Both said they were good.
With the voucher our total was only $55 so we will do that again as it opens up a ts credit for an adr that requires two.

We loved the nachos too...had them back in Feb and was suprised at all the toppings, like you we thought it would be a plate of chips with a light hand on the good stuff

DH loved the spaghetti and meatballs from VN, it looked like a small portion but it was deceiving!

The cinnamon buns at MSB are such a let down, they used to be much better than they are now

great start - looking forward to more. Haven't tried then nachos - now they are list for the next trip.

CP is now our traditional meal before MNSSHP. I didn't think we would like it but have enjoyed it each time.

Today we were off to Hollywood Studios after eating some pastries from Old Port Royale that we didn't eat much of due to their dryness.
HS was absolutely packed for a day that was said to be the best day to go there. Because it was so busy we decided to beat the rush and eat at 11am...too late:laughing: So in line at Backlot Express gave us time to analyze our choices, many many times. I decided on the onion straw burger, fries, parfait. The burger looked big but it was mainly because the onion straws were very thick onion rings. I took them off and ate them as a second side. The burger itself was just plain not good. I tried to kill it with mayonaisse, ketchup, anything I could find. It didn't help so I only ate about 1/3 of it. The parfait was ok. DW went with the grilled turkey sandwich, fries , marble cheesecake. It was better than the burger but it had little meat. The cheesecake was also better than the parfait. DS and DD went again with the nuggets kids meals.
I was disappointed because this was a decent cs last year but after this year I doubt we will go back.
For dinner we had our annual reservation at Whispering Canyon. Last year we got a bit of grief on arrival as we were 4 minutes late so this year we arrived 20 minutes early for our 845 adr. Wrong move again as the same blonde haired lady from the year told me we were way too early and we couldn't have a buzzer until a few minutes before our 845adr. At 840 I went and got the buzzer and we waited in the lobby. At 910 we were buzzed...seems as if Ms grumpy pants should have let me check in when I tried to and maybe we could have been seated at a reasonable time.
Our server Naborly was good and so it helped my mood. The skillet was ordered and when it arrived we strated in on it. DW ate only the chicken which she enjoyed while I started on the pulled pork and brisket. AFter eating a bit I switched to the amazingly tender ribs. I was going to regret eating so much but I couldn't resist. The kids ate their skillets, DW ate the corn and in the end we had to order dessert to go.
We ordered a chocolate kahlua cake, mixed berry, and kids cookies for tomorrows breakfast. They were very good.
After dealing with the woman at the counter my fun has been ruined for the place and we are done. Too bad, I really looked forward to the place.

Thanks for the reviews!!! Enjoying them!

How were the crowds in the restaurants and in the parks? We head out Monday weather permitting!!!:goodvibes
thanks!!!!

Thank you so much for writing such a detailed review! So sorry about your pictures :(.

Loving your reviews so far! Hate to hear that about your pictures.

Anxiously awaiting the CRT review. DD10 just decided she wanted to "eat in the castle". I can't believe I was able to snag a dinner reservation; all it took was a week of stalking the online dining! I'm not impressed with the menu at all; but the sacrifices we make for our children. Hoping to get some inspiration from you!!
