Just got back from 6 nights at ASMovies. I'll just share a few things.
Crowds were pretty heavy, but I never waited more than 20 minutes except for RNRCoaster (more on that to follow). Just hit the parks early and used fastpasses. Worked fine.
The new setup at RNRCoaster is a mess. They have the regular standby line. Then they have the fastpass and single riders line which merge into one. Then they have those 2 lines merge with the standby line. I waited (with a fastpass) for 40 minutes and the line wasn't that long. It's completely disorganized.
I did alot of resort hopping. Went to check out Wilderness Lodge since we'll be staying there in December. Love it, love it, love it. Went to Port Orleans for the first time to check that out for next July. I was surprised, but I really liked the setup of both sections. Beautiful, fun looking resort.
I was beyond unimpressed with the Beach Club. I can't believe it's rated as one of the best deluxes. It did nothing for me.
I was also unimpressed with AKLodge. Just didn't do anything for me theming wise.
Downtown Disney really is "an attraction itself". I spent so much time there, browsing, eating, drinking. It's so beautiful.
Did another DVC tour. Not gonna join.
The new ride at Seas with Nemo is pretty lame. The new Mexico ride with Donald is also pretty lame. I saw Flights of Wonder at AK for the first time, and that was really neat.
Fast food burgers were all bad on this trip. Every place I had one, they were pretty crappy. Rainforest Cafe, Marrakesh, Ohana and Alfredo's were all very good.
Bus transportation wasn't bad, though several times there would be 3 or 4 buses for the park before your park's bus arrived. Only stood once all week though, so that's not too bad.
That's all I can think of. Any questions, let me know.
