Hey all!

There is water in the flume of Small World and we saw a bunch of ride operators and suits walking all over the outside of the ride while we were on the train. They all waved and smiled at us. *EDIT* I forgot to mention the Jungle Cruise was down for a while (not sure why).

Just got back from a day trip with my DS2. The crowds were very light most of the day. I never felt crowded walking around. In fact, the longest lines were to get into the parking lot, meeting Mickey (15 min), and exiting the Dreams Parade was a bit congested.

The New Orleans/ Critter Country area felt congested because so much of it is blocked off. Here's a pic of my son seeing Minnie for the first time. He was kissing her and didn't want to leave...

There was MTTMM that morning, but the longest line was to see Mickey.

Peter Pan was 45 minutes at the end of the day. We rode it first and walked on. We rode Pirates four times and walked on all times. Walked on Casey Jr., the Carousel, Pooh (3 times!), and Pinocchio.

It was a great day. We watched the parades in both parks at got excellent, front row seats 45 minutes prior to the starting times.

Just ask if you have Qs. Have fun these next few weeks if you're going!

Thanks for the pictures!!!! :flower3:

It looks so NICE and uncrowded!

Why was so much of Critter Country/New Orleans Square blocked off???

i looooove that pic with your son and minnie...soooo cute :) and what a great day to be at DL! it looked so empty!

Thanks for the pics--especially the ride time pics. I think it puts it all in perspective and *crossing fingers* hopefully, it will stay that way next week.

I couldn't believe only 35 minute wait for Nemo at 12:30! That's great! :goodvibes

thanks for the info and pics! we'll be there on the 29th and 30th and i sure hope it's as uncrowded then as it was in these pics!

your son is so adorable!

I was there 9/10 as well from 1-closing w/ only my 3 year old boy!

We had a blast doing:

Matterhorn
Buzz 3x
Astro Orbitors
Splash 4x
Winnie
Splash 3 more X
POTC
Big Thunder 3x
Pinnochio
Snow White
Peter Pan
Mr. Toad
Carousel
Casey Jr.
Tea Cups
Alice
Roger Rabbit
Goofy coaster
Star Tours

There were crowds but I only saw a handful of rides w/ any real lines! It was indeed a great day to go!!

Cool, we went last week mid-week and it was great.

I'm gonna leave work at 2:30 and go play at DLR... The lines are too small to not go!

It was blocked because of the Haunted Mansion overlay. I am not sure why the French Market or New Orleans Train Station is closed, but that was all blocked. And the Sailing Ship Columbia was docked and has a big board up around it.

I believe they are redoing the sidewalk or something around NOS

Thanks for the report! Wow, that shot of the hub with almost nobody in it was amazing.

Your son is ADORABLE!

I am so excited! I've only been to the park during the summer months where the crowds are insane. I'm looking forward to our up coming trip in mid november:goodvibes

NWprincess you are going to be one very happy person.....crowds should be just as good as they have been last week and this week...your going when its the calm before the big storm:lmao:

I am not sure how crowds are in November, but they are probably better than summer. I went a few weeks ago and vowed to never again go during the "on season." I just don't do crowds well, and have been spoiled with the off-season.
You will LOVE it!

Hey!! loved the pic of minnie and him..makes me wish I could have gone with ya!!! Maybe sometime in the next month or so..such like him to give a kiss or high five to anyone and everyone..say hi to the little guy for me!!

I need to start planning my trips for mid-week in September!!!

It's been like this since the day after Labor Day.

If you don't mind the shorter hours, no Fantasmic!, no fireworks during the week, and no ELP, it's a GREAT time to go to DL!

Thanks so much for those pics. We leave in 8 sleeps and that makes it seem so much more real. I love seeing that it isn't busy right now. Bummed Fantasmic will be down but we will still have a blast lol
