Stayed at ASMu this time - 3rd floor in one of the Jazz buildings. Busses went well except for one day waited for a bus to TL for about 25 minutes (in the hot sun - YUCK.)

I didn't think it was that crowded - I was expecting it to be wall to wall people. We didn't get up for EMH once, mostly based on my 13 y.o. DS's need for sleep & the fact that I get up soooo early for work, etc. I still got up a little early and would take a book, get some coffee and sit outside the food court for a bit - saw a couple armadillos while doing this. We did get to all the parks around 10:00 -11:00 a.m.

At certain times, I felt like we had EPCOT to ourselves - especially FW - we got to see & "do" all the interactive things without any wait times at all. We did have to get FP for TT and the return time from around 11:00 was 7:00 - 8:00 p.m. so we went to hotel and then came back later. Got to talk to some interesting CM's. Loved the statue shows in Italy!! My son like the chair guys in France.

MK was more crowded than the other parks, but still not terribly bad. We walked on to almost everything - didn't go on Splash. Walked on to Buzz about 3x one day and 4x another day that week. We did get there early (by that I mean 10:00-10:30)

AK I thought was wonderful. It did seem a little more crowded the later in the day it got, but enjoyed it. FP for Safari - the return wait time wasn't too bad. Thanks to these boards we got to see the Lion King show the day we got there before it stopped for refurb.

MGM wasn't crowded at all. Saw Millionaire - got picked to sit in the "fastest fingers" seats and that's about as far as we got. One guy got in the hot seat had been there about 15 times before (lives in Tampa). As the host, Dennis?, said "you need to get out more often." PS at Primetime - one of the waiters (not ours) was a hoot.

Went to both water parks - got a giggle out of what my son calls "the migrators" who pull chairs around for their group to not sit in. Had to get out of water at TL later in the day for the thunderstorm warnings - funny to watch all the people run for cover - didn't we just get OUT of water?

In a nutshell - we did everything we wanted to do and more (rented water mice 2x from Contemp & GF) I'm not sure if I can answer any questions - since it's all over, but I can always try.

Thanks to everyone on these boards for your tips to make our vacation a blast!!

TZMOM - How much was it to rent the water mice and how far could you go ? Did you have to make reservations to rent them. We're staying at WL in December and if the weather is nice we were thinking about renting them.

Thanks for the report. Do you recall how much the water mice rentals were? I keep telling my daughter that I'll do that with her next trip.

Sorry took so long to reply - I've been doing laundry & back to work :(

We rented two water mice for 45 minutes which came out to $58.00. I think it was about $23/each for one for 1/2 hour. That was absolutely one of the highlights of our trip!!

Thanks TZMOM. We'll definitely try to fit that in next trip. I haven't rented one for years.
