Hi....we just got back today after spending 3 nights last week in a HRH Kids Suite with 3 kids (8, 4, 1) and then 6 nights at 'that other Orlando park.' I'm still doing a lot of unpacking and haven't written a trip report, but if anybody has any questions, I'd be glad to answer them.
All in all, we had a great vacation. We took it easy at Universal and IOA given that our kids are young, but we all had a nice time.
We loved the HRH pool....the fact that it doesn't get very deep makes it great for kids although I know that's a point of dissatisfaction for people without kids or with older kids.
The Kids Suite was nice, but we paid full price and we would have been better off just using the Entertainment Rate and getting adjoining rooms....that way we would have had an extra bathroom. The Kids Suite didn't have a kitchenette or anything, so it didn't seem like it was really worth paying 3x the Entertainment rate for the lowest price room. It had a cute table as seen on the 360 degree picture, but other than that, the theming was nothing really special.
FOTL was convenient, but the parks weren't all that terribly crowded when we were there (which was mostly in the morning), and our kids are so young that we weren't trying to get onto the most popular rides anyway. It was an advantage but not as much of one as we expected it would be.
Anyway, those are the key points to share that come to mind at the moment....be glad to answer any questions!
