CSR was great, although our room location - Casitas 2 - was not optimal. We had a corner room with 2 windows, unfortunately the views were the parking lot and the laundry facility with a sliver of a courtyard. Now I know what people are talking about when they say the CSR is so big. It took us forever to get to El Centro. Last time we were in Casitas 5, waterview, and it was a much better location. Oh well, live and learn.

The resort was wonderful. We had a great breakfast at Pepper Market, spent an afternoon at the pool, it was busier than our previous stay.

The Villas at Wildnerness Lodge was fantastic. We stayed in a studio overlooking the quiet pool and a view of the lake. We loved the balcony and the music they played.

Overall, we had no complaints about our room condition or the service. The bell service was especially great.

Happy to answer any questions....

hi, we are going to CSR, and the WLV in 19 days!!!!!!! We requested Casita, water view, you think Casista 5 is a good location? WhooHooooo, can't wait! We, requested a ground floor pool view studio at the Wlv, is this a good request or would you go for a higher floor? Would you mind telling what your room # it sounds like a good location!!! How was the transportation at these resorts? thanks much!!!!!!.....goof

I think Casitas 5, waterview, is an excellent location. It's midway between El Centro and the Dig Site and near the sidewalk but not directly ON the sidewalk. We rec'd a free upgrade in Sept 2002 and were spoiled. No such luck this trip (a couple of conventions were going on). However the resort was as beautiful as ever. We were in room 2285 this trip. New carpet and spotless. We were close to bus stop 2. Transportation was efficient.

At the VWL we were in 3505. We enjoy being high up. We don't like the thought of people walking outside the patio all day long. However, if you want quick and easy pool access, I guess that's the way to go.

The only transportation glitch we ran into was after our dinner at O'hana at the Poly. We had to go to DTD from the Poly to catch a bus back to VWL (MK had closed at 7:00 and we didn't leave the Poly until 9:00). Not a huge problem, just seemed a bit silly to ride a bus for an hour to go about 1/4 mile.... It was also POURING rain!

hi thanks for the info! i'm going to put in a request for casitas 5 and a higher floor pool view studio at the wlv! Thanks again!!!! ..........goof
