Hi everyone. I don't have much time but I wanted to quickly share our recent experience at Disney. We arrived at SSR Wednesday evening about 7:00 after a quick grocery stop. It was me (41), my DSIS (48) & my DD (10). We used Happy Limo and were once again very pleased with their service. I had requested the Springs section at SSR, with our 2nd choice being the Congress Park section. We were put in the Paddock section. The 1 bedroom unit was very nice but so far from everything. We found the resort to be too sprawling. The main pool was so crowded you couldn't find a chair and you waited in line for 30 minutes at the bar for a drink. In '05 we stayed at a Grand Villa in Congress Park and found it wonderful but that's probably because Congress Park was the only phase built at that time. I had been on a wait list for the Beach Club so I called several times during our first couple of days to see if anything had opened up and finally my perseverence paid off. We could check into a studio for our last two days. I love BC and so did my DD and DSIS. You just can't beat the short walk to Epcot. My only negative thing I could say is there was a very grumpy bartender at Martha's Vineyard. We loved Storm-a-long Bay and my DD was known by name by all of the cast members at Beaches & Cream by the end of the trip. She loved that place! They even awarded her with a magical certificate for being the "customer of the week" on our last day. We tried to extend our stay by a day and every resort on Disney property was at 100% capacity! I had no trouble believing it as I've never seen it so busy as it was this trip. Just going through the parks was like leaving the park after the fireworks show. It was exhausting between the crowds and the heat. But we still had a blast and I can't wait to go back!
