Just back home last night. We really enjoyed our vacation! But that is despite the higher than expected crowds and cooler weather. I have never been in February, so I was not sure what to expect. I felt like the parks were really crowded compared to the last two times we've gone---once in late August and once in late September. Our first day at DHS was crowded but I knew it would be as it was the least recommended park according to EasyWDW.com. I was hoping the rest of the week would be slower. We rode ToT and RnR 2 times each and really enjoyed them. TSMM theming was great! Left early because we were tired from traveling.

Tues was MK. We didn't make rope drop, but was there soon afterwards and we got some things done early. By that evening it was crowded but manageable. Dinner at WCC was delicious and we had a great server--thanks Joey! Back for Wishes and a couple of rides on BTMRR after dinner.

Wednesday was Epcot--rode Test Track several times in single rider prior to breakfast at Norway then had FP for it, Mission Space, and Soarin' ---thanks to the glitch a few weeks ago! Decided to take a break while it rained. We went back for supper and it sprinkled most of the evening. :(

Thursday was AK. Park felt crowded but wait times mostly low. Rode Everest several time thanks to single rider line! Loved the Nemo show! Boma was a big disappointment---ate there last time and loved it. Just seemed blah this time. Want to try Sanaa next time. My DD went outside to the campfire while we were waiting and listened to the storyteller which she really enjoyed.

Friday we were back at MK. It was soooo busy!! Thank goodness for FP+ or we wouldn't have rode anything. All the standby lines were crazy! Even the FP+ lines were backing up---not sure what was going on? We decided to take a break because we just couldn't handle the crowds. Dinner was at BOG---I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this place! The theming was beautiful, and the food was impeccable! We had a great server here as well--thanks Shelly! Most rides were walk on after dinner--930pm?

Saturday was checkout and morning at Epcot before our flight. We didn't ride any rides...tried Test Track single rider but the ride broke down :(. Had lunch at Tutto which was good...ravioli and tiramisu were great! Then it was time to head back---we were so sad to leave!

We were there the 19th - 26th and after everything we read about President's week, I thought it would be unbearable. We stayed off site and were able to ride most everything we wanted twice or more. Magic Kingdom was extremely busy on Tuesday the 25th and was the only park we needed to use FP+. We had beautiful weather - hated to go back to MN and the -30 wind chills.

It was crowded at MK on Tuesday, and packed on Friday. Easywdw let us down on those two days, with MK as "best park" days and predicted crowd levels of 4 - geesh!:rolleyes2

I think the weather had a lot to do with this. We kept delaying our MK day because we wanted sunny blue skies and I don't think we're the only ones. The cold wet weather on Wednesday and Thursday left us with Tuesday and Friday to choose from.

I was there the same days as you and did the same schedule, except for Friday. We went to Downtown Disney. I thought the MK felt very crowded on Tuesday. EasyWDW had predicted crowd levels of 3 and 4 for the week and I was kind of caught off guard by all the people. When I was in the BC Lounge on Friday, someone came in and said "There are a billion people in the MK today." It was a busy week, for sure.

We had a nice time, but I think I am done for a while.

I am glad you enjoyed your vacation.

We only get to go every few years so it will be a while before we go back anyway. I definitely was hoping for lighter crowds but we made the best of it. I think the weather probably did have a lot to do with it...soggy Wednesday and cold Thursday made for the perfect storm Friday. Our magic bands and fp+ worked great. Just wish the fp were not limited. Could have done a lot more.

We were there the same week, our schedule was as follows:

Monday checked in to the hotel and hit EPCOT, ended up exhausted from the trip after a few hours and headed back to the hotel. Only rode SE and Maelstrom, crowded but no waits for those rides.

Tuesday was Animal Kingdom morning. Got there right around opening, rode safari, EE, Dinosaur, watched NEMO and Bugs Life all with no wait. Walked through the Jungle Trek and a few other areas. Didn't feel crowded at all and was probably my favorite day of the entire trip. Went back to the room, relaxed a few hours and then headed to MK for the evening and Wishes. Seemed crowded but road Buzz, TTA, Stitch and saw the Monsters Inc show all with little to no wait. Stuck around for Wishes and then headed back to watch Philharmagic and ride Small World and Haunted Mansion while the crowds died down.

Wednesday morning we went back to MK at rope drop and got FP+ for Peter Pan as I've never had the chance to ride it due to the extremely long lines! We rode Pirates, Jungle Cruise (longest wait of the trip!), Tiki Room, Little Mermaid and something else I'm forgetting before hopping over to EPCOT. We got to EPCOT and did the Seas with Nemo and friends, hung out at the acquariam, rode living with the land, figment and walked through innoventions before heading to World Showcase. The plan for the afternoon/evening was to explore world showcase and then stay for illuminations. Well we got absolutely drenched and neither of us had raincoats! The pouring rain started while we were back in Morocco so we had to make our way all the way out to the front without raincoats or umbrellas! We went back to the room and ended up just going to DTD for dinner and staying in for the evening.

Thursday morning was supposed to be rope drop at HS, well it was raining so we slept in an hour, unfortunately this meant no TSMM for us :(. By the time we got to HS at 9:30 TSMM was already a 60 minute wait with no fastpasses left. I rode TOT and RnRC with little to no wait, then we walked around, did the great movie ride, took a break to hop over to Sanaa for lunch (amazing by the way), came back and did animation academy, indy show, stunt car show and beauty and the beast. I rode TOT again and we headed in to watch the 7:00 fantasmic.

Friday was our EPCOT morning so we could ride Soarin and Test Track. We immediately got FP+ for Soarin and then rode single rider on Test Track. So we were able to get both rides in before 9:45, not too bad! After that we hopped over to Animal Kingdom as it was my bf's favorite. Man was it crowded, I've been in the middle of summer and never felt that crowded. We were able to see Bug's Life again with no wait and I was able to ride EE in the single rider line with a short wait. The wait times didn't look too bad in general, but I felt like it was so crowded you couldn't move! After that short trip we took a couple of souveniers back to the room, rested for a couple of hours and then headed to Magic Kingdom to catch the main street electrical parade. Seemed very crowded but we stayed right at the entrance by the train station so that we could exit immediately upon the end of the parade to get over to watch Illuminations. We went over to EPCOT and found plenty of vacant spots around the World Showcase, settled in a little area between Germany and China that had vacant spots right against the railing. Didn't have to camp out way ahead of time and had amazing views! Exiting the park didn't take to long and we didn't have a long wait at the monorail.

So all in all, the parks never seemed overly crowded except for AK on Friday!
