My sister and I went for 5 days and got back a couple of days ago. I thought I'd share our experience, hoping it will help someone else make some decisions. Here are my thoughts, in no particular order:

Rose & Crown, dinner: She had the fish and chips and I had the salmon. She really liked both, I loved the salmon but didn't care for her fish. Even drenched in malt vinegar it was bland. For dessert she had the cheesecake and I had the Irish Whiskey-Caramel Custard. I couldn't taste any whiskey or caramel; it was a basic creme brulee but it was good. Our server was Paula from Wales; she was so adorable I just want to sit and have a chat with her. We both rated this our top meal of the trip.

Via Napoli, dinner: She had the Candele and I had the peperoni pizza. They were both good, but I think I liked hers better. For dessert, she had the zeppole and I had the Coppa Di Brutti Ma Buoni...both were delicious. I think I'd go back just for that dessert.

Sci-Fi, lunch: We both had burgers and fries, shared a milkshake, and she had the peanut butter cake (don't remember what it was called) and I had the hot fudge sundae for dessert. I'm glad we ate here as I'd wanted to check it out for a while, but I don't think I'd rush back. The food was good, there are just other places that I prefer (namely, 50's Prime Time when in DHS).

Tusker House, breakfast: We'd eaten here on our last trip and she wanted to go back, so we added it at the last minute and made an early reservation. The food was good, but my favorite part was that our ADR was at 8:20 so we were able to eat and were standing at a rope in front of the safari ride when the park opened at 9. I really enjoyed walking through an empty park to go to breakfast as well. I would definitely consider doing this again, especially at AK or MK.

Whispering Canyon Cafe, lunch: This wasn't originally on our list, but we re-worked our schedule toward the end of the trip. Also, I like to eat at hotel restaurants to give me an excuse to go check out that hotel. We both loved Wilderness Lodge, and it will definitely be a top contender when our whole family comes back or we take our niece in a couple of years. I was a little nervous about the cafe because my sister is a picky eater, and I wasn't sure what she would like on the menu. We both got the Canyon Skillet, and it was good. It wasn't the exact taste of bbq that I like (close, just not exactly right), but it was filling and several items were very good. I got the bread pudding and she got the chocolate cake for dessert. We arrived as they were finishing up the breakfast service, and we agreed that if our family stayed here we would rather do breakfast than lunch or dinner. The restaurant was pretty empty, so it wasn't too noisy, but there were a few servers doing the usual antics. I hadn't mentioned it to my sister beforehand, but we both enjoyed it. Our server didn't mess with us too much, but we liked watching.

I won't review all the counter-service places and they were pretty standard fare, but one stood out. I had been wanted to try Columbia Harbor House for the past three trips, but was never in the right place at the right time. I finally made it this trip, and it may just be my favorite counter service in all of WDW now. I had salmon and she had fried shrimp. Both were really good, and I was so excited to have the option of something other than chicken nuggets, burgers, or hot dogs. I will definitely go back and plan my schedule so I can eat here again.

Hope that helps others make some decisions. I love trying all the different restaurants around WDW...so many good places to eat!

Very good review! Much appreciated.
I have a question about the Whispering Canyon lunch. The info I had said that the skillet had a lunch price of 17 or 18 dollars, but the updated menu at WDWINFO has it at the same price as dinner, which is $28.49. Do you recall if this is correct?

I want to say the lunch price was $18.99, but since we were using the dining plan I wasn't really paying close attention.
