Just got back home from the most wonderful place on this earth. But very tired had to go back to work for rest. We spent 12 nights at the Dolphin Hotel it was nice Im not sure I like the colors yet? Stayed on the 10th floor corner room with balcony in a Jr suite. I really thougt it woud be different it really was one room with a bed tv ect. and the other room had a pull out in the wall and a pull out sofa tv ect. not that it was bad, but I guess I exspected somthing a little nicer. Still somewhat clean and the balcony was nice. We could look down on Boardwalk see the Ball and Tower of terror not to mention a great place to dry your clothing due to so much rain. over all a very nice stay. :) :smooth:

We stayed 12 nights at the Dolphin in a Jr. Suite and we were told none of the Jr. suites had balconies. I really did my homework before we left so your news of a Jr. suite with a balcony is a surprise! We have a Jr. suite reserved for Dec for 16 nights and would love a balcony! Do you think you were in a king corner room and were given a connecting room too? A king corner room has a double balcony. Glad to hear you had a nice vacation! Welcome home!

We were there the 20th to 24th...sorry we didn't bump into you Steve!

It sounds as though maybe you had a one-bedroom suite, not a junior. The room with the pull-down and pull-out is a "parlor" room, and can be adjoined with one or two regular rooms for a 1BR or 2 BR executive suite. The adjoining regular rooms can have a balcony.

Not all corner kings have two balconies.....we had one that just had the deluxe curved one at the end of the "finger" of the building, but the floor above and below had a"regular" balcony around on the side of the finger as well. The corner kings are awesome rooms whether with one or two balconies :teeth: so bright, and beautiful views!!!

NHann you are correct it was a parlor I remember when we made the reservations they called it a parlor, but still refured to it as a Jr suite. On the cornner room this is where the parlor room was and this had a double balcony. Then the second adjoining room had a king sized bed and a single balcony each room had its own tv, and refrigerator. Although I have to say we did not spend much time on the balcony we left the rooms by 9AM and did not return untill 9;30 PM so everyone was to tired to sit out side. And I do have to say the view was very nice but mostly what we were looking at was the top of the roof with all of the vents and exhaust system and one of the large Shells the top of the waterfall. So I guess it is how you look at it good view or bad view Still could see Epcot fireworks every night if you wanted to.
