Just back...12 days and three villas later

We did 2 nights at VWL...we really love the lodge but thought the villa was a little on the dumpy side. Seriously needs renovating.

5 nights at AKV..love it love it love it love it...did I mention we LOVED IT!

4 nights at SSR...very pretty room in the grandstand section, nice pool but not our style...probably won't return.

Could you enlighten us on your VWL experience?

We really loved all of the amenities at the lodge. The room itself (1502) just looked a little beat down..The bathroom looky dingy with cracking tile and the tub looked dirty even though it was clean. The bedding was faded and slightly torn. The sofa smelled musty. Even with all of this, I would stay there again bc we love the lodge and the location. After seeing AKV and SSR rooms, VWl just seems to need updating...Just my opinion.

Sounds like you got a badly used room at VWL. Sorry to hear that. I'm glad we've never encountered that room.
