Just returned from Christmas trip. It was our first for the holidays. Usually go end of May or early June. I (24) went with DBF27 and DD6. Stayed at the ASMusic for $65 a night, thanks to an email offer from Disney. Unfortunately couldn't book DDP due to already having leftover tickets from June. From now on I will pay for a preferred room. We were in Country Fair building 6. It was literally about a 1/2 mile walk from the bus stops. That is really far after a long day in the parks. Otherwise, the resort was fine. (We aren't very picky, and don't stay in the room much anyway.) Bus service was much better than when we stayed at POP. I was very suprised at the weather. I wasn't exactly prepared. It was quite cold. Just as bad as Charleston when we left. Went to AK on Sunday and it was not crowded at all. No waits. Went to MVMCP Sunday night. It was nice to do once, but will not do it again. The crowds were crazy! It was more crowded than the next night at MK. I learned not to go to MK on Mondays! It was very busy. Each day got more busy, as we expected. We also learned that this trip was much more exhausting b/c we only had 3 days to do the parks. We have previously taken 5 to 7 days. We stayed such a short time b/c my Unofficial Guide book said the crowd levels were projected at a 2 out of 10. Thought we would easily see everything we wanted to see. It was actually more busy than when we were there in June and the levels were projected at 6 of 10. From now on we will do no less than 5 days. Ate at Chef Mickey's and Princess Storybook dining at Akershus. Also ate at San Angel Inn. All were good. Counter service lines were ridiculous! Overall, a fun but busy trip! No complaints.
