Just Back 11/17 - Magic is Alive at WDW!

Just wanted to post that there was alot of Pixie Dust Flying during our trip this week DGrD - 4yr old dressed as Tinkerbell one day at MK. CM came up to her and asked for her autograph she was so pleased (and did sign her name in his book...) Then another CM came up and asked if she would like to ride Dumbo. Took us to the front of the line. Unfortunately she kind of got scared and we didn't go on, we had the CM give the ride to some other little one. DGrd and I were given the opportunity to see a preview of the New Monsters Inc show on Thursday - very cool The weather was beautiful, and crowds were low. Oh by the way DO NOT MISS THE OSBORNE LIGHTS AT MGM They are even more spectacular than last year. Wishing all of you a wonderful trip Kind of sad though, have to wait 11 months for our next trip...

That is so COOL that you were able to preview the Monster's Inc show...we are going to be in the world 12-24-06 to 1-2-07 do you think there is ANY chance they will be doing soft openings?

Glad you had a wonderful time and pixie dust came your way. We are anxious to see THE OSBORNE LIGHTS, we have seen them in past years, but we have heard they are really special this year. Welcome home and your planning starts again.

As far as Monster's Inc show goes, the CM's asked us to not say too much about it so we won't spoil the magic for others. I'm not sure how much info is out there right now. One of the Imagineers was there, and asked any of us who wished to stay after to give our feedback of things that could be added or modified. I can say it will be wonderful for little ones right up to adults. They said it will open next year, but not sure if that means January or sometime in 2007.
Another thing that we did this week was give away fast passes to people. Kind of our idea of Paying it forward. With our DGrD we did a child swap on several rides - TOT, RNR, etc we didn't need the fastpasses so would walk up to someone, and ask them if they'd like a free pass. Got a few strange looks, but several big smiles It was fun

Wow! We were there at the same time.....from Nov 10-17th.

Wonder if we passed each other? We did the MK Mickeys Magic Christmas on Mond, the 13th...

We had 7 in our group, counting the baby (13 month old neice). We did MK, Epcot, AK, back to MK that night, then MGM for 2 days, back to Mk, then Downtown Disney on the 17th, the day we left.

I wonder if it was your DgD i saw, cause I did notice a bitty girl dresses as Tinkerbell...My dd, who is 11, got her face painted with the Tinkerbell design!

THe weather and the crowds were GREAT this time of year!!

We can't wait to go back.
