Here is a re-cap of my trip! 10/20-10/26
EPCOT:
1. Food & Wine is InSaNe....really. Way too many people with wheelchairs, scooters, strollers, etc. for such a tight space in World Showcase. I am not going to judge whether or not you should be IN one of these, but I AM going to judge how you drive them! I have been hit so many times in my ankle that I lost count. There needs to be a specific direction in which the "traffic" flows. Diagonal is not one of those options, people!
2. I am a vegetarian, and I thought it was safe to have what was labeled "Cheddar cheese soup & pretzel roll" from Canada. I took one bite, and sure enough, bacon in it. I returned it, received a refund, and asked politely for them to indicate that there is bacon in it for the next vegetarian who strolls by.
3. Our meal at Via Napoli was great. My daughter's chicken parmesan was absolutely HUGE. We also ordered garlic focaccia bread and it was only $3.95. GREAT deal for an appetizer.
4. The Refreshment Outpost got rid of my FAVORITE lemon soft serve. Now it is just boring vanilla, chocolate or swirl.
ALL-STAR MUSIC:
* Strolled in at midnight and we were told to drive around to the left and we will run into building 6. Somehow we unloaded all our bags at building 6, couldn't find our room, and was told by a mousekeeper that we were actually at the All-Star MOVIES resort. How in the heck did that even happen?? Anyway, building 6 at MUSIC is even WORSE than we could imagine. It was literally the farthest room away from the bus station as you could possibly get. DO NOT GET 6512 unless you like to walk a far distance at midnight when you are already exhausted.
* Mousekeeper walked in on us sleeping at 8:30am on our last day. That was enough to startle us and decide it was time to get up for the day!
* Room was clean at all times. We haven't stayed at an All Star in YEARS. It was quite small. Luckily it was just the two of us! No towel animals. We always look forward to that. No big deal. We survived.
MK/AK/HS:
* No more jalapeno Mickey pretzels anywhere. Boo.
* Arriving at rope drop each morning was the best thing we could ever do on this trip. We got more accomplished by 11:00am than we could ever imagine!
* Laugh Floor at MK was hysterical. We did it twice. We almost walked right on by.
* When we arrived for our reservations at the Prime Time Cafe, we were looking at the menu and couldn't find a single thing that either of us could eat. We cancelled and went to Sci-Fi. We were able to get right in despite my Disney App saying there weren't any reservations available. Lesson learned::: Read the menus ahead of time!!!
STAFF:
* Everyone was nice and friendly, but they were WAY more into each other than they were the customer. Any time we saw 2 CMs working together, they were just chit chatting together. We were ignored many times.
Hope this helps!
