Well, I am in depression as my cruise is over. But as usual, my cruise was as magical as any other.

The cast was as follows:

Me-DH and planner of this cruise!
DW-Loves Disney and Disney Cruise Line.
DS3-Loves Captain Hook, Mickey, and Disney cruises!

04/24: We woke up and headed to the port bright and early or so we thought. We live in Fl and drive to the port in less than 2 and 1/2 hours. When we got to the port it was a little after 10 a.m. On our other disney cruises, we usually get their by nine, but on this cruise the line was down the escalator to check in. We worried, but as usual, disney had it down to a science. We checked in, in less than 20 minutes using the repeat cruisers line. We then got in line to board the ship and waited until 12 p.m. when they started boarding. Once in we took our welcome aboard picture (new background) and were announced. Ahhh!!!!! Our vacation oficially began! We then started the ressie rush as we call it. We went to get our Palo ressie. We got Sunday at Key west at 7 p.m. Just in time for the sunset. It was great, but more later on that. We then went to the spa as DW wanted to make a hair appt for formal night and wanted to get a massage. No problems here either. After that we registered DS3 in the oceaneer's club and went to get lunch. We ate at Parrot Cay as we usually do because they have the same lunch as Topsiders, but give you free soft drinks. After we had lunch we went to our room (about 2 p.m.) and found the gifts we ordered from the perfect gift. As usual, Shirley did an outstanding job. She made my son a great basket and flowers for DW. After this, we did some touring, the drill and got ready for dinner. We had main dining. Our first night we ate at Animator's Palate. We love the show in here. Our servers were Miro and John and they were outstanding! After dinner we went to the welcome aboard show and called it a night. After a long day we were tired and excited about key west.

04/25: Woke up and went to Topsider's for breakfast. After breakfast we went swimming and got ready for Key west. When we arrived at Key West, we went to the aquarium and took the conch train tour. We had lots of fun here! After this we went back to the ship for lunch and rested for dinner. I dropped my son off at the oceaneer's club and took DW to Palo. It was out of this world. Anna Maria was our server and she did a great job! After this we went to see Finding Nemo at the Buena Vista Theatre (per DS's request) and did some shopping in the evening. Then off to bed for us!

04/26: Our day at sea. We slept in and then did lunch at Lumiere's. After lunch, we did some shoppping, took pictures and went to the character autograph session with DS. We strolled around the ship and then DW went to get her hair done at the spa. DS and I went swimming and then went to get ready for dinner. Tonight we were at Lumiere's. Everyone was dressed to the nines. Tonight was also the Golden Mickey's show. It was outstanding. Disney Dreams has some competition with this show. We just loved it. After the show we did some family portraits and went to bed.

04/27: Grand Cayman. We woke up early and headed out to the tenders. We went to the Buena Vista Theatre and got our tickets to get on the tenders. We went to Seven mile beach and ate at the Hard Rock Cafe. Grand Cayman is very expensive!!!!! but a beautiful island. When we got back to the ship, we rested up for dinner, and then went to see the premear at sea "Home on the Range." Very cute movie. After that, we went to our room, hung out on the verandah and ordered room service. After that, off to bed to get ready for Cozumel!!!!!

04/28: Cozumel: I love this island. This was our shopping day. We did alot of jewelry shopping and got some great deals on silver. We haggled alot!!!! DW would get embarrassed, but when I got them to go lower, she was happy! After shopping, we had lunch at Pancho's back yard. This is the best authentic mexican food on the island, great drinks too!!!! After lunch, we shopped some more and took a horse and buggy ride. Lots of fun! After this we went back to the ship and got ready for Caribbean night!!!! We had dinner at Parrot Cay, saw the Haunted Mansion at the theatre and went to the deck party at 10 p.m. Then off to bed!!!!

04/29: Day at sea. We woke up late again!!!! (Took advantage of that perk as we wake up at 6 for work!!!) Had a late lunch and went swimming. Then did another autograph session with Peter Pan characters and went back to the room to rest. Tonight was semi formal night. We had dinner at Lumiere's and saw Disney Dreams that night. I love that show. After the show, we did some shopping and off to bed!

04/30: Castaway Cay: We were one of the first guests off the ship. We got great seats with a hammock and shade. We had some fun on the beach, had lunch at cookies' and headed back to the ship early so we could have the hot tubs and pools to ourselves. We went to our final dinner and packed up to get our suit cases out in time for pick up. We attended the farewell show and the comedian chose me and my DS for some tricks/jokes. Lots of fun!

05/01: Oh no! It was over! We woke up at 8 and got off the ship. We decided not to have breakfast as we wanted to get home as quickly as possible.

This cruise was awesome and we can't wait to go back! I gave a really high level report, but if you want specifics, just ask, I will be more than happy to answer!

Thanks for reading!

Great trip report Spidey.....of course I couldn't head off to bed without reading it since you posted that you had it finished! Sounds like you had a great family vacation. DH & I have only been on a Carnival 3 day cruise to Nassau, but DS & DD have been pestering us to get them on a Disney cruise before they get too old to enjoy the "kid stuff" as they call it, lol. We may just consider this for next summer's vacation so I may just have to hunt you down & pummel you with questions.:D Thanks for taking the time to post, see ya back on the Universal board!

SpideyHulk,

Just curious, to get the optimum spot at CC, what time did you get off the ship?

Seems wierd to hear you talking about something besides Universal. Sounds like a great time.

Sounds wonderful! Thanks Spidey. I think I might look into doing a cruise/Universal sometime.

We were off the ship as soon as they cleared it, however, you can get great seats anytime before 9:30 I would say. Now, if you want a hammock as well, get there really early.

Prince, I know, I think that is why I wasn't as detailed as I normally am. It felt kind of weird, but we love Disney cruises. They are a great vacation, other than themeparks.
