This year I'm bringing my best friend wtih me to the World. It's her first time there ever and shes so excited. I really want her to have a great time and there are just so many different palces to eat. I want to have at least two nice dinners...whats the best/ or your favorite places? Or where would you bring somebody who's never been there before to make the trip more memorable? Thanks so much.

One of the places I really like to eat at is LeCellier because of the food and the one place that says Disney to me is Chef Mickeys, which seems to be getting worse reviews than ever. However it is a tradition in my family to eat at Chef Mickeys the 1st night and we look to forward to seeing the characters and getting our picture taken in front of the huge plate every year. Boma is really nice also if you and your friend are not picky eaters as you can also visit the AKL which is beautiful.

I would be sure to take her to a restaurant on the Boardwalk. I love both Spoodles and Flying Fish. The Boardwalk is a fun place to stroll and people watch. The resort is so beautiful.. I just love the atmosphere. If you are over 21, Jellyrolls might be fun after dinner.

During our April trip we ate at Jiko the last night and I really enjoyed it. The food was wonderful, the ambience is great, our server was excellent - everything was perfect. We also went to AKL a bit early for our ADR and spend some time looking around the resort and at the savannahs. It is a beautiful resort.
It was a very nice last evening experience.

I have several favorites and they are favs for different reasons. Le Cellier is great for their steaks and Cheese Soup. Liberty Tree Tavern has very good food and huge portions. 50's Prime Time is lots of fun and the food is good too. I always have the pot roast and hubby has the fried chicken. My girls eat different things each time. Brown Derby and their Cobb Salad is hard to beat too.
What ever you decide, make sure you have a reservation. My friend, who was just there, said it was hard to get in if you didn't.

How about California Grill? It has such a nice view and if you time it correctly, you can see Wishes from up there. I haven't been in a few years - but I really enjoyed it.

Wow these are all good ideas! So much to choose from...but the Boardwalk sounds really nice for an evening...it looks realyl beautiful there.
