Just as I suspected

Now, this is not scientific by any means, but it had occured to me that if DC went away it would be much more dificult to get in because we have removed a big factor in keeping the line moving. Some never made it in. Some made it in, but never had a chance. Everyone was aware of the eminant danger of DC so the were not going to hold things up. Even the most dificult player who wants to argue the finer points of their loss would eventually DC and be gone. I am finding the new no DC Utopia to be imposible to get into the host line. Anyone else feel we are victims of the demize of the DC, do we need to go back to lines of 700? hmm

I agree. I've almost found myself (and I'm reluctant to admit this) wishing DC was back, after all those weeks of complaining about it.

We don't only have the problem you just described, we also have cases of terrible lagging and getting thrown back into game lobbies...

I am in line now. I have been in the room twice and this will be my third time. Of course, I still haven't won, but I haven't had problems getting in. It takes about 15 - 20 minutes of trying to get in line.

It's not the lack of dc that's the problem, it's the 5700 people who were online from 8:30 until about 9:45! It dropped to 4200 and it only took me about five minutes to get into line. Now it's down to 3600 and it took less than two minutes of trying.

So, the lesson here folks is, wait until the east coast kiddies start going to bed before trying to get into the line!

Well, a lot of the morning things on weekends are pretty early for the west coasters, so it all evens out.

eh, I'm okay with it. At least you don't have to be actually nervous while in the host room (or even while waiting in line).

Keep in mind too that this is the beginning on the month and everyone is excited to get the new pin, and there are tons of people on because of halloween.

Think like Dory, just keep trying (swimming). If you don't give up, you gotta win eventually.

I got in several times over the last couple of days.
I love that dc is reduced ( because I won't say gone, because have dc several times every day. )

Now just as before, only those that really want to get in and play are going to keep trying to get in.
