Just Arrived!

Everything as beautiful as ever! Christmas decorations look great…lots of garlands, and a tree at the entrance to each tower. Walked by Ama Ama. Not sure I’m wild about the design, which looks kinda like a coffee shop with all that blue upholstery, but still great to have it open, with the waterfall water feature in back up and running.

Its 9:01 now and I’m looking down at the pool seating from our balcony and there are lots of empty chairs, while the seating behind Ama Ama facing the beach still fills up fast.

Was raining when we arrived yesterday but sunny today.

I remember lots of days growing up where there would be sunshine, and huge raindrops on one side of the street, and the other side would be nice and dry!

It’s mid 30’s here and snowing (lightly) so I’m really jealous!

Thank you! It’s actually beautiful out today! We haven’t planned too many activities for our stay, but tomorrow we plan on venturing out to hike to Manoa Falls, then explore the Lyon Arboretum next door. You need reservations to get into the arboretum, so there’s no way to do it on the spur of the moment.

Hopefully we‘ll get back in time to spend the afternoon beachside!
