Ok, I have 3 rooms on the Oct 16th cruise. I paid 411 per adult and 200 per child. We have a total of 6 adults and 3 kids.

I read that you can change your plans to a travel agent and save 2% plus get an onboard credit. Is it really worth $40 to change everything? Will DCL give me the credit?

Anything else I am missing before final payment is made?

Thanks!

It depends on the travel agent and what they're offereing. I don't think DCL would be giving any kind of discount. I'd suggest contacting the agent you have in mind and asking what they'd be willing to do if you would transfer the reservation to them. For $40, it hardly seems worth it.

From what you wrote: 6 adults @ $411 + 3 children @ $200 is a total of $3066. If this is correct, per the Dreams Unlimited (DU) website you would get a rebate of $100. Making it only $2966 that you'd have to pay and you would get whatever onboard credits could apply to your cruise and rate.

I'm not an expert, but i don't think it would hurt to check with Dreams Unlimited. And if you chose to, it is a painless and quick process to transfer your reservation over to them.
