Just about a perfect AK morning...

followed by a great lunch at Nomad Lounge and a chance to shake Joe Rohde's hand. I just could not believe it when he walked by and commented that we were in a great spot.

He was talking very animatedly to the group with him about the view over into Avatar so no chance to ask questions.

Evidently lots of upper brass are around today for the RoL preview tonight. I bet that's what Rohde was there for. I guess Iger is even there, or will be tonight. He wouldn't be as exciting to run in to. I'm afraid I may be tempted to do bodily harm to him

Iger was at Jingle Bell Jingle Bam last night and the Drone show at Disney Springs. It is expected he will be at RoL tonight. Bob Chapek head of parks and resorts was also spotted with him.

I love the Nomad Lounge by the way, may be my favorite lounge on property.

And it will REALLY be popular when Pandora opens so now is the "quietest" it will ever be.

They actually were talking to people which was surprising. There is a video in a facebook group that shows him talking to a mother and daughter at jingle bell jingle bam last night.

Oh wow. I'm super jealous. I've read/watched many of Joe Rohde's interviews. I find him so incredibly interesting.

But that earring, I can never look away. I'd be talking to his ear.

Listening to Joe Rohde talk about AK backstories was one of the highlights of the Destination D weekend last month. This man has great stories.

He was also part of the weirdness of the weekend with James Cameron when they were discussing Pandora as if the place and characters in it were "real".
