I wouldn't even bother trying to be online to make your 180+10 ADRs at 6:00. Just call at 7:00. :sad2:

The last few trips we have taken, It has been a total waste of my time to get online at 6:00 to make our reservations. The "Sorry for the paws" message kept showing for a solid hour, until I finally gave up. Today was the last straw, and from now on, I'll just wait until 7:00 to call. I called at 7:00 today, was put on hold for a few minutes, and proceeded to get most everything we wanted by 8:00 :crazy2:.

I could rant on and on, but I am just happy we are going to be eating at Ohana on Christmas. I was so worried that it would be booked.
 
I'm sorry it didn't work for you. I've been lucky in that I have had no problem booking on line at 6 am. At least you got what you wanted, and that is the main thing.:)
That's great that you have had better luck than I. And yes, all that matters is we did get most of what we wanted. I couldn't get Coral Reef, or San Angel. Something is telling me that they are just holding reservations though for the CP. I am hoping to get a reservation for that as soon as they become available. I booked La Hacienda in place of San Angel for now. Heck, we may even keep it, and try something new.
 
I have had the same issues for most of my trips. This past trip was fine though, thankfully. But i agree that most of the time it just sucks.
 

We are here now. I only booked the trip last month and have had no problems getting in anywhere. Have made several changes while here and even walked up and changed dinner reservations to lunch time.

When were your last few trips? We last went in May 2015; DH and I both got onto our MDE accounts at 6 am and each booked half of our party's 180+10 ADRs (9 days worth) - got everything we wanted (including BOG lunch and dinner, CRT, Via Napoli, HDD, Akershus, Ohana, Tusker House, Boma,...) in about five minutes. We're going a couple times in 2017 and I'm worried maybe our 2015 experience was a fluke.
 
I guess we've been lucky because we've never had issues using the website or mobile app to book ADR's at 6am (5am for us) 180 days out. Maybe it depends on the time of year and how many people are accessing the website too... we usually go in Feb/March.

Glad you were able to get what you wanted even after the mishaps!
 
This was the first year we had to call and man it was a disaster! The Disney website crashed for the customer service person too, their whole system was down. Had to call back a couple hours later when it was up and running. The last five years I was able to book online so one year isn't too bad

We go once, sometimes twice every year. I noticed that making our ADRs became more difficult for our trip in Aug of 2015. We didn't make any ADRs for our Oct of 2015 trip because we were there for F&W. Then I had trouble booking our ADRs in April of this year for Oct, and today for our trip over Christmas. :sad1:
 
I had no trouble booking everything I wanted online for my July trip at the 180 day mark. I wonder why the extreme differences?
 
We've been lucky too, so far have never had any problems booking online. However I've only booked at 180 for our Thanksgiving trip last year and now our Thanksgiving trip this year; all other trips I book ADR's anywhere from 5 to 1 month out. Always been easy to get BOG dinner, too! I think it's just a crap shoot whether the website will work or not.
