trip report, that is! Just returned from a wonderful 7 nights at Kidani 1 bedroom standard view. Wonderful resort, lots of animals out to see. Yes there are periods of them being off the savanna but we were gone to the parks too, and they were out again shortly. We would have preferred a savanna view but there was none available, and we are so glad we stayed anyway. The resort is just lovely and the room is very big, even with the couch and chair pulled out into beds, we had plenty of room for our family of 5. The master bed and bath are huge! The balcony is great too.
We followed TGM almost to the T and avoided all lines and saw everything we wanted! It really works! Our new favorite ride is Toy Story Mania. We did all the headliners at least twice.
We were on the DDP and kept up the first 3-4 days but it gets to be so much food! Our ts restaurants were Sanaa- food Ok, portions smallish, terrible waiter that put a damper on our meal there. He was almost demanding a large tip...well we tip 20-25 % always, but didn't feel like tipping this guy! (we did). I don't think I can talk DH into going there again. Boma-wonderful! TRY ALL THE SOUPS! Les Chefs de France-best meal of the trip!! The salmon was sooo good, the lobster bisque and french onion soup was wonderful, chicken was chicken, their macaroni plate was excellent too! Chef Mickey's food was good, broccoli/cheese excellent, everything fresh, dessert selection was good. Character interaction wasn't rushed. Lunch at Akershus was very enjoyable, saw 6 princesses, the girls did BBB that mornibg and it was sooo worth it! Loved it!

Weather was chilly but we wore jackets at night. shorts most days. All cast members were super as usual, ran into no bad language in the parks, and overall had a great Disney time!
I will probably post more details later

Love the AKL. :) Sorry about the Sanaa experience - not been there yet. I love Boma, too. :goodvibes
