Hi,

This year will be the first time staying on site. Usually we would go for breakfast in the morning and drive straight from there to the parks but because we are staying on disney property we will be getting the disney bus there.

Just wondering what you think would be the best time to leave for breakfast to ensure we are back in time t get the bus and get to the park early? :cheer2:

Thanks

We were at the bus stop one hour prior to the opening time and were towards the beginning of the line at the park.

I would suggest eating breakfast in your room to save time if you want to be at the park when they open.

Going on the Disney Bus line is ONE reason we love to stay at Disney Resorts. Breakfast Time? No real problem.....If you miss one bus, you only have to wait about 20 minutes (or less) to get another. We like to do breakfast 7:30 a.m. Around 8:30 get a bus for a park opening at 9:00. The Disney bus line goes just about everywhere in Disney World. HAVE FUN!!!

First thing - You'll love being on site! We stayed off site our first 2 trips to WDW - after tat we've been on site ever since. It's worth the extra money! Now, the next thing is - Breakfast - All the Disney hotels have a snack bar or a food court where you can get a quickie breakfast. Cereal, danishes, yogurt, coffee, milk, etc. Or if you're into a big breakfast they have that too in the hotel restaurants or food courts. Do treat yourself to a character breakfast! Two of our favorites are either Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary, or Goofy's at the Beach Club (walk to EPCOT). Or you can get breakfast at the parks - many fast food restaurants have a breakfast menu. Just look at your Park guide as to where to go.
Take advantage of the early opening (one hour before off site guests are allowed in). It varies every day as to which park it is. Ask at your hotel - they'll give you a brochure. Then, it all depends where you are staying as to how long it will take you to get to your destination. If you are in the All-Star Resorts or Ft. Wilderness, or any not in the vacinity of the park you are going to, - give yourself a good hour to get there. The buses in the morning come about every 15 minutes or so - as the day progresses it's a little longer wait. When the parks close - you'll have more buses again.
Have a great time! You're going to love the convenience of staying on site! :mickeybar

Thanks for all your great replies!!!!

Maybe we'll vary it until we work out whats best. I totally forgot about all the food courts and everything inside the hotel so maybe we could try those too!

Im gettin sooooooo excited now, i cant wait!

Breakfast in the room not only saves $$$ but lots of precious time. The food courts are great but very crowded in the morning! When we went last summer, breakfast in the room for my girls was very relaxing...cause honestly it gave them something to do while I was showering and getting ready etc...then when they were done they did there getting ready and I got the fanny packs togehter for the days activities and off to the bus stop we went. I would also recommend the character breakfast...they only one we have ever done is Cindy's Castle. Absolutely awesome...it is one of our fav's! Have a great trip!
