Just a quick question on long stay's

I have only been to the "World" once and it was in Jan. I have to say I am now addicted. So addicted we joined DVC when we got back We now have many years of wonderfull trip planning ahead, I was wondering for those of you who stay 10-14 days how do you spend you time there? Do you go to the parks every day? Do you spend time traveling around? Just looking for some pointers for future trips. Thanks in advanced for all who reply

We spend about 2 hours at the parks per day at the most. I will swim for a few hours, go to dinner and just relax. We go to a casino in Tampa a few times on long trips. As you go to WDW more and more you will probably not go to the parks to often either.

DH golfs, I go to parks, we meet up later and do some things together. We spend a day at a water park. We've started doing some of the tours - AK backstage tour and Wild by Design; we're doing the Segway in May, that sort of thing. Basically, we just go at our own pace. We never leave the property except to go grocery shopping.

We spend a week going to the parks then we do side trips for the other week. We go to Cocoa Beach and Shell Key Island and to Merit Island and cape canaveral etc.

Sleep in, maybe order breakfast, sometime go work out, get ready for the day, in a park around noonish.

Leave the park sometime around 6 ish, head back to the villa to get ready for dinner. By now we are indulging in a nice variety of beverages.

We head to dinner anywhere between 7 and 9, and spend a couple hours at the table.

After dinner one of a few things may happen:
1) Pleasure Island/Adventurers' Club
2) Jelly Rolls
3) If at Epcot restaurant, perhaps catch Illuminations
4) Head back to resort lounge for night cap

I will then fall asleep to the DVC promotional channel.

You can probably tell we don't have kids.... yet!

This Aug DS13 & I are taking our first mother/son WDW vacation and our first 2week vacation

The first wk we're going "home" again to the VWL. The first few days are MK resort days, not activating our APs till later in the day on Tues.
Wed thru Sat are our park commando days - once to ea park at their openings

The second wk we're going to Beach Club Villas - first time at an EpCot resort! Will spend the mornings at Stormalong Bay & Luna Park, eat lunches on the Boardwalk and head to the parks later in the day
