I am not sure I heard abot B-Days at Disney well my B-Day is actually tommorrow and our wedding anniversary is July 17th but since we have been saving for our 1st EVER WDW Trip with our kids and 1st ever REAL family trip we have no extra money to do anything for my birthday my husband feels bad about not being able to get me anything and my kids want to do something (they dont know we are even going nor do they realize that we dont really have extra $$ to spend on other things)
Anyways is it wrong to get a pin at Disney and celebrate my B-day and Anniversary at the park? I know it will be 2 weeks when we get there after my b-day
Any feedbacks please
Thanks Robyn

I think we put way too much focus on gifts these days.
My husband and I have been together for 19 years and gifts on special occasions are rare. I'd much rather have a small gift from him on a "regular" day because it means he wanted too, not because he was obligated.
So if you want your gift to be a wonderful, memory filled trip then I don't think you could ask for much more! And sure, a pin to top it off ain't so bad either. lol
Congrats and have a wonderful time!

I know on your birthday you can get a special pin to wear and the CMs make a big deal about it. Not sure if you need to prove the date or not.

I think it is a great idea for making the day or the trip really special.

I opted not to on my 40th since besides dressing up as a pirate for P&P night, I am usually pretty low key. Being in front of the castle on the big day was my goal.

I think you should at least mark the occassion on your trip with a special dinner or something. You could arrange for a sitter or the kids clubs or something...or make a big family day.

Have fun!!!

Hi I know all I ask for is a card LoL but yeah gifts to me I rather a flower or gift on a non special day as this way it means more as they thought of it

About Disney I think I will ask about a pin (I am a kid at heart LoL) and I think I will see if my BIL who we are meeting down there will watch the kids for a lil bit so my husband and I can go out for a lil dinner for B-Day and our Anniversary (as its only a 3 day in between)

Thanks ladies
Robyn

We are going to Disney the end aug. My DD's b-day is the end of sept.
We are planning on celebrating her b-day with cake, pins etc.
We have done this twice in the past & have had no problem with it at all.
We even mentioned it to a couple of CM & they got DD all excited because she gets to have 2 b-days.
