just a little question regarding share holder discount

i have had a quick search on here at older posts and cant quite see the answer to my questions but i was wondering about a few things...

if your a shareholder and you travel with another couple who are not shareholders like we are in june, and say for example your both having a meal together and when it comes to pay for your meal, can you use your card to get discount for both parties?

and could you use your card in the shops and get discount off both transactions?

i suppose the simple thing to do is for me to pay for the meals/shopping and get my friends to pay me back? Is that allowed?

And when you become a shareholder are you limited with the number of people you can get discount for? are discounts only allowed for the name holder on the card and closest family members??

I do appologise if all these questions have been asked before.

I think if it were me I would pay for the meals/ items for everyone and get the money from your friends. Just keep the receipts to avoid arguments!!!!

We went with another family & I used my shareholder card for the meals we had together. You have to present your shareholder card before you get the bill. Once we had the bill, we paid cash & the other family paid on their card & it wasnt an issue.

The shareholders discount is for the table so I can't see a problem there ..... and like Mummy Minnie said they take the shareholders discount off before they present you with the bill.

As for shopping - on our last trip they were asking for ID when I purchased things in shops, this had never happened on previous trips so I think they may be tightening up. They're probably more concerned that the shareholder is present and hasn't just loaned/lost the card as my DH often paid even though it was me that had showed my card and it was fine so I would try it. If it's refused you can pay then have your friends repay you afterwards.
