Just a heads up about getting AP rates

Just wanted to let you know that it sometimes pays to keep trying with the AP rates. We are heading down to Disney TOMORROW and I had called 3 different times over the last couple of months to ask about AP rates for our upcoming Boardwalk (concierge) stay and there was always nothing. And then I decided to try one more time - so, three days before our vacation was to start I called and got $100/night off our reservation!! Not sure why I got it then and not before, but I'm happy either way!

I also booked a November trip and was able to get an AP rate for our YC part of the trip but not the GF part - I will keep calling to see if something comes up for that.

So keep trying - it can't hurt!

Yeah, I am going to keep trying. When I called (4 times) they said that YC and BC were the only deluxes available for my dates.

My husband and I had to make a trip to Tampa (from Jacksonville) for him to see a doctor the second week of July this year. We decided to leave a day early and spend the night in Orlando. Called that afternoon and was able to snag an AP rate at BWI. On our way back the following day we again decided to spend the night in Orlando. Called on our way back to Orlando and snagged an AP rate at YC. Same day discounts...gotta love it!
