Well, as usual my area is not included, of course I live in the twilight zone, but since I am going to Scranton today, I may be getting my gas there so that I can save some $$$$$.
My tank is almost full but hey, I will put some more in it , this way it won't hurt so much when I get gas if I don't let it go low.

Wow! Thanks, Dan! Looks like I'll be checking on gas at WalMart just about around the corner from me. I was there last week for an oil change. I'll have to go check on the gas station.

Our area is getting a "Sheetz" station in the next few months. Traditionally, at least in our area, they start a gas war by dropping prices by fifty to seventy-five cents per gallon. They do this for about a month to draw people in and get them into the habit of going there. It's actually a very good marketing tactic. After a month the prices start going up to more "normal" prices.

Now, right next door, construction is also starting on a Wal-Mart Supercenter. (This is NOT an anti-Wal-Mart post so DON'T START!!!) I've noticed that the few WMSC's that I've seen sell gas and usually at what are at least slightly lower prices. (there's also the WM gas card option)

Any possibility that we could be headed for a "gas war" in this area? I suspect we are. This could be a VERY good thing for us. Wish it could happen for everyone.

You don't have to be a member to get COSTCO gas?
I was told you needed to show your Costco Card at the pump.
If what you are saying is true, then I'm headed to Costco for a fill up!!

Yes it shows over to the left in red that it is for regular gas. We do not use regular, I wonder if it jumps a bit more for the next one up? Anyone know?

Ahhhhh, yes, I forgot that. I thought you meant a Costco charge card. Just like Sam's Club.

I just saw some ridiculously low prices ....too low compared to prices even before the recent spike...should I be suspicious of either the station or the unknown person who reported these prices?
