We will be at the World in 2 weeks staying at ASMu. Have reservations at Cape May for dinner one evening. Can we stroll over to WS afterward and leave our car there or is that a no-no? Also, will be sharing an Illuminations Cruise one night. Where do we park? Will I need the confirmation #?

Thanks for all the great ideas and help!!

I assume you mean World Showcase. Ask at the gate when you park. I think it will be alright since you have PS there.

We have parked at BC many times & eaten at Cape May & then have gone to Epcot for a few hours.

You are allowed to park for three hours when dining or visiting a resort you aren't staying at. The Epcot resorts tell you as you pull in that you can't park there to go to Epcot. It's because too many people abuse this and then there isn't enough parking for the people paying to stay at those resorts. If you will be more than three hours total, drive to Epcot and walk through to the BC from there, then back to Epcot.

I'm an owner at the BCV and BWV, and have stayed at both on cash as well. It irks me to no end when I can't find a flipping parking spot without having to park across the road, then watching 80 cars leave the parking lot after Illuminations.

Park at the Boardwalk and take the boat over to the YC/BC...then go on to EPCOT. No point in walking that very long distance from the EPCOT parking lot to the YC/BC - everyone is allowed to park at the Boardwalk.:D

No, everyone is NOT allowed to park at the BW in order to dine at another resort or go to Epcot. Please read the signs posted in front of the lots there, specifically saying taht parking for Epcot is NOT allowed.

You could always cough up the $6 for valet parking, then you don't have to worry about your car if you're longer than 3 hours. Be sure to mention that you also have the reservation for the Illuminations cruise.

Since you'll be on the cruise, and have to dock at Y&BC, depending on when you get back to the Epcot entrance, you may not be able to get back through the gate to get to your car if you park in the Epcot lot. (some people at Boardwalk had that problem last weekend - they were told by an ESPN CM that a bus would take them back to the Epcot parking lot - this is not true and it was too late to go back through the WS entrance - bell services/valet were trying to help them out when I last saw them)

You can also give the Yacht Club a call - 407-934-7000 - and ask what the procedure is in your case.

Well, we have not been to the Boardwalk recently but we used to park our car and just walk around to enjoy...Hard to believe Disney does not allow that anymore:confused:. If you just want to rent a bike, have an ice cream, or see the sidewalk performers on the Boardwalk, where do you park? The OP was not just going to EPCOT - she had a PS for dinner and also a cruise... she should not have to walk from the EPCOT parking lot to the YC/BC to board the boat for the cruise at the YC - that's ridiculous.
