Are low attendance days a thing of the past? I've taken 5 trips to WDW in the last 2 months (4 day trips and 1 long weekend) and all but one time I found the parks were crowded. Early December and January used to be so slow. The only good day was one in which it rained really hard in the morning. By 2 o'clock MK was almost empty and we just walked on whatever we wanted. I love rainy days!

On my last trip, while having a smoke in the smoking area adjacent to the Indy Speedway (or whatever they call it now) in Tomorrowland, I noticed that the cars are fixed so that you can't hit the car in front of you. When did they change that? I haven't been on this ride in maybe 20 years and never knew they changed it.

In the last scene on the Pirates of the Caribbean ride there are a couple of pirates who seem to have Tweety Bird on their pirate hats. I've looked at them as closely as you can from the boat and it's seems to really be a skull and crossbones on their hats, but it always reminds me of Tweety.

How come every attraction must be tied to some animated character? Ok, so I'm exaggerating a bit. But I like the Diamond Horseshoe Revue and the Tiki Birds. Does the Living Seas really need Nemo? What next? Maybe they will replace Rover on The Carousel of Progress with Pluto.

I wish they would sell some decals for your automobile windows that didn't have Tinkerbell on them. Just a plain old EPCOT or MK decal. I've given up looking.

I miss the double decker buses that took you around the World Showcase. I wish they would bring them back.

I'm not understanding the problem with Nemo being in the Living Seas. :confused3 He's a popular character as it was a very good movie and all Disney characters originate from somewhere, so where else would Nemo be but in the Living Seas??

Has Diamond Horseshoe Revue been reincarnated??

I haven't seen "low attendance" in 8 years. And we only go during the low season! Having been in Magic Kingdom when it was only 45 days old, I guess I have a different threshhold for "crowded" than most people. :cutie:

As for tying attractions to movies, I think "Haunted Mansion" proved that concept is flawed!!! Ride waaaaaaayy more popular than the lame movie.

I have no real problem with Nemo. I've never seen the movie. Maybe if I had children I'd feel different. It was just an observation, don't get your wetsuit in a bunch! :teeth:

No, they changed it to Goofy's Country Dancin Jamboree. Now I think it's a "Woody & Friends" character greeting. I pass it up these days. I guess I should edit my above post to say I "liked" The Diamond Horseshoe Revue.

We went to MK last May and my mom found a decal for her car at the Disney shop on Main Street that had Mickey on it and a really pretty scene behind it of Disney World and the bottom said "Where Magic Lives". But you're right Tinkerbell is everywhere! Little girls and even adult little girls love tinkerbell for some reason. :earboy2:

Well, you've never seen the movie, but I'm going to quote a famous line: JUST KEEP SWIMMING, JUST KEEP SWIMMING, JUST KEEP SWIMMING, SWIMMING, SWIMMING! :fish: :fish:

:rotfl: :goodvibes

Yes, yes it does really need Nemo.
LOL

Yeah, I'll have to go along with that.

The Dead Seas needed SOMETHING to perk it up or it was bound to go the way of Horizons. The new Nemo tie-ins have turned it into Epcot's first bona fide kid-friendly pavilion. Of course, old-time Living Seas enthusiasts stil hate it since they got rid of the SeaCabs, but at least the pavilion now has a chance to survive mostly intact instead of being leveled for a thrill ride as World of Motion and Horizons were.

Maybe it's the recent prevalence of Paris Hilton... :sad2:

Huh? What's Paris Hilton got to do with it? Don't you go tainting our Tinkerbell with mention of Paris Hilton..... *threatens to slap you with pal Mickey to bring your to your senses... don't make me do it*
LOL

They have nearly a dozen different styles -- you can get character and park logo car decals at WOD. I just sent a whole batch to a friend in UK.
