Anyone still trying to book?

I was actually able to book a standard room @ POP online last night. I already had a reservation but was trying to add one extra night for weeks now with no luck...when I looked last night the entire stay was available (including the night I was looking for) so I just rebooked it as a new package and then called first thing this morning to cancel the first one. I hope someone was able to book it and was as happy as I was to finally get what I wanted.

So, if you're still looking -- don't give up hope quite yet!

I am still waiting for an email from Dh who is overseas to let me add more days before the air goes up too much more now. Already got the air but be nice to have 10 or 9 nights at BWI instead of 6 nights but can't complain but I am

right now we are going during Free Dining (Aug. 30th - Sept.6th) but using a 40% off code I got for the whole package, staying at Wilderness Lodge, instead...but may have to bump it back a couple weeks if possible because I am the development director for a nonprofit organization and a group offered to throw a fundraiser on Sept.6th for us,,,and even though its not our event..it probably won't go over well with my boss to be gone the entire week before and show up the evening of the event! So now I'm in limbo cause its the weekend and although he hasn't asked me to not take my vacation then...I don't want to change any plans yet...so I"m just going to worry about it until I can speak to him face to face about it on monday!

Keep trying. If you are booking online, try adding more days than you really want, and then call right away the next day to cancel the extra days.

I wanted Animal Kingdom Lodge for 8-25 - 8-30. I had to look at 8-25 through 9-1 before it came up as available. I'll just call tomorrow a.m. and cancel the extra days.

That's what I did. I was originally scheduled for 8/24 - 8/30 but then I wanted to stay until 9/2 and I couldn't find availability. So I booked 8/24 - 9/4 no problem and then called back and canceled the extra nights. Good Luck to all!!!

If you go to the Disney reservations website they have links under special offers on the left side for free dining.

At the moment we're looking at the week of September 15th. Not definite on days...well we'd kind of like to be there during the week and not on the weekend. We're just going for 4 days/3 nights. And were hoping for a value but I realize that is a far stretch since it's a last minute decision.

Called today looking to change our ressie for Sept 15-22nd at AKL or WL,,,no luck under our code or free dining. The best they could do is a studio villa at AKL for $100 more than what we we're already getting if we were to keep our current ressie at WL Aug. 30-Sept 6th. AHH!! Tomorrow I'm going to get on the horn and see if there isn't something I can do like for a longer stay and cancel like ya'll suggest or see if something isn't available under our code for Sept. 22nd-Sept 27th. sigh. wish me luck.

Calypso-Thank you so much for your help! We ended up keeping our original dates of Aug. 30-Sept.6th,.though we did change resorts to AKL! I'm so excited! I splurged for a savanna room without telling my boyfriend even though he was sitting right next to me when I was booking it! Its a birthday/graduation trip for him and I'm so happy that things have worked out. I was so worried about having to change dining reservations in the midst of free dining. THANKS AGAIN CALYPSO!
